Ancient Ways QC I run Open Sabbat Circles, teach classes, and counsel local Witches, Wiccans & Pagans in the QC area. We are not a coven, nor do we adhere to any tradition.

The Circle of Ancient Ways is an open gathering of Eclectic and solitary Wiccans, Pagans, and Magickians who have found fellowship in shared rituals and group study. As a group, we merely have a guiding theme of seeking Gnosis through neo-Pagan Hermeticism. This means that we seek a path of personal transformation and spiritual development in a Wiccan & Magickal context, finding the tools of Spiri

tual Navigation in ancient and medieval texts as well as modern sources. One of our primary goals is to provide each other with friendly counsel & guidance while we share time on this often lonely and individual path. The group is a resource for those unique adventurers exploring a personal Initiation into living a truly Magickal life. If you are interested in Pagan Hermeticism & Gnosis, the Initiatory Journey inherent in the Wheel of the Year, Initiation without being constrained by a group or tradition, any & all aspects of Practical Magick (from Elemental Witchcraft to full Ceremonial Magick) and Divination, the Hermetic Circle of Ancient Ways is the place for you. In our manifestations across the country we have had members from a broad spectrum of Pagan & Hermetic paths, including British Traditional Wicca, Thelema, Freemasonry, traditional as well as Hermetic Qabalah, & several contemporary magical orders. Our goal is to provide at least one Circle and one class or workshop per month, decided on by group consensis when possible. We also offer legally ordained clergy for traditional & secular weddings, handfastings, and commitment ceremonies. Our clergy can design personalized ceremonies for any Rite of Passage, reflecting the spiritual orientation & lifestyle of virtually any individual or couple. We are also able to provide spiritual counseling & guidance to any who are seeking their Path in life's grand adventure, and are beginning to realize their potentials and ask questions. We can't answer your questions for you, but you do not have to seek them alone!

I can't find the exact source, but I remember Phanes being associated with the Spring Equinox. That was the time Phanes was born from the Orphic Egg. Compare this to the image of Mithras which is my profile pic.

Phanes was a Protogenoi god of the Orphic tradition in Greek mythology. The god Phanes was said to have come from the world egg at the beginning of time.
