I spent many years trying to break the
"quiet time code." Questions like this puzzled me: What should a quiet time look like? How do I really hear the voice of God? How much time should I devote to reading my Bible? When is the best time of day to read my Bible? HOW do I read my Bible? And so on. I searched deep and wide for answers and have come to realize there is no clear cut
answer on what a "quiet time" is, because that term is never actually mentioned in the Bible.

If we want to know Him, we have to study the Bible and digest it as our daily food! This is what a quiet time is - coming to God with a hungry heart and open hands, ready to meet Him through Scripture.

Having a “quiet time” isn’t about finding a specific formula, it is about knowing the God of the universe and learning about your Savior, Jesus Christ. This comes through the regular practice of reading the Word, studying it within its context, praying fervently, and then, through the Holy Spirit’s power, living what we read out in daily life

From the beginning the natural flow of being a disciples of Jesus. Jesus took the disciples and made them into disciple makers. H called each of His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey Him. From the start, God's design has been for every single disciple of Jesus to make disciples who make disciples who make disciples until the gospel spreads to all people. Yet we have subtly and tragically taken this costly command of Christ to go, baptize, and teach all nations and mutated it into a comfortable call for Christians to come, be baptized, and listen in one location. God's leaders are to prepare the Body of Christ for the great commission, to go and make disciples. For Jesus has invited all of us to be part of His plan for the work of the ministry (telling others about His saving grace but only those who have actually experienced it are empowered by His Holy Spirit with the ability to share the good news because they are not ashamed of what Christ did at the cross to save them.

Jesus has designed all of His people to know His joy as we share His love, spread His Word, and multiply His life among all of the peoples of the earth. This is the grand purpose for which we were created: to enjoy the grace of Christ as we spread the gospel of Christ from wherever we live to the ends of the earth. And this purpose is worth the giving of our lives to see it accomplished. It’s worth it for billions for people who not yet know the mercy and majesty of God in Christ. And it’s worth it for you and me, because we were made to be disciples who make disciples until the day when we see the face of the One we follow, and together with all nations we experience His presence for all eternity. Jesus Lifted Ministries is a nonprofit 501 c (3) ministry of helps to the five-fold ministry and is currently encouraging evangelists. Please carefully read the attached brochure to learn and understand more about the vision of the ministry and how it plans to help the evangelists in America. The vision involves a strategic way of sending evangelists around the nation to spread the gospel in order to grow the churches by reaching the lost. So many in this nation are sitting in darkness and we must be about Our Father’s business to reach them. How can they hear unless one is sent???

This remarkable evangelist coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma, with several years of ministry with the Assemblies of God Church, has taken on the responsibility of being the Lead evangelist of the National delegation of evangelists in America; through working with Jesus Lifted Ministries. He has faithfully answered the call!! Many pastors or their representatives from around the states of Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas have been sent invitation to this invitation only event. Come and represent your area for strategic evangelism.
There are multiple accommodations in Natchitoches, Louisiana at the intersection of I-49 and Hwy 6 and are very economically priced hotels in which to stay such as the Hampton Inn, Comfort Suites, Econolodge, Holiday Inn, Days Inn, Fairfield Inn, etc.
The Shreveport Regional Airport is 1 hour and 30 minute drive to Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Please RSVP by March 10, 2016. Please email the attendees name and contact information or send back your RSVP declaring which state the attendee will be representing. Attire is Semi-formal. The dinner, hotel accommodations, and travel expenses will be Dutch treat. RSVP as soon as possible due to limited seating.
