As Peter and John encounter a man asking for help at the temple gate, an ordinary trip to prayer becomes a moment of healing and praise through the power of Jesus.

What does unity in the church look like?

In Acts 2, it looked like believers generously sharing what they had to support God’s work and care for one another.

On Sunday, Christian Montoya reminded us that cheerful giving is an act of worship—a practical way to trust God and invest together in His kingdom. Its fruit is seen in needs being met, ministry moving forward, and people coming to know Jesus.

Here’s a question to carry into this week:
What step could you take toward giving more willingly, consistently, and trustingly?

Whether generosity comes naturally or feels challenging, start with prayer: “God, grow a generous heart in me.”

Your past failures don’t have to keep you from taking your next faithful step.

On Sunday, Christian walked us through Acts 2:22–41 - Peter, who had denied knowing Jesus, boldly proclaimed His death, resurrection, and the forgiveness available in His name.

The takeaway? The Holy Spirit changes hearts, and we’re called to faithfully make Jesus known wherever we have influence.

God provides power for His purpose.

This Sunday’s message, The Empowered Church, took us into Acts 2:1–13 and reminded us that the Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people to make God known.

Our response is to be available, obedient, and dependent on Him—allowing His influence to shape our words, relationships, and everyday decisions.

What is one area of your life where you need to surrender control and depend on the Holy Spirit?

The Church That Yields looks at Acts 1:12–26 and what the church does while it waits on God. Rather than rushing ahead, the believers respond with obedience, united prayer, trust, and faithful preparation—showing us that waiting is not wasted when God is using it to form us for what comes next.
