We had a wonderful time of fellowship at our indoor picnic last Sunday!
A great blessing of the Church is the opportunity to grow in Christ alongside one another, what a great reminder about how fellowship impacts our lives together.

As we continue our time through the season after Pentecost, we are reminded that much of the Christian life is lived in ordinary days. It is in these daily moments that Christ calls us to remain faithful: to pray, to love our neighbors, to study His Word, and to gather with His Church.

A collect for inner renewal through the word (BCP 2019, p. 667)
Gracious God and most merciful Father, you have granted us the rich and precious jewel of your holy Word: Assist us with your Spirit, that the same Word may be written in our hearts to our everlasting comfort, to reform us, to renew us according to your own image, to build us up and edify us into the perfect dwelling place of your Christ, sanctifying and increasing in us all heavenly virtues; grant this, O heavenly Father, for Jesus Christ’s sake. Amen.

We are so grateful for all those who joined us to discuss Paul Gutacker’s Practicing Life Together: A Common Rule for Christian Growth. We practiced living out fellowship together as we explored and asked great questions, reflecting together on the truth that “where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20).

Pray for our bishops, clergy, lay delegates, and all who serve the Church: that the Lord would give wisdom, humility, courage, and unity in Christ, amen.
