“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.” — Psalm 107:2

Sometimes we tell it with our words.
Sometimes we tell it with our feet.

So grateful for these dancers who used the gift God placed in their hands to worship Him and tell His story.

I’VE WITNESSED IT!

“I have witnessed God navigating my life like a compass. Though I never physically saw him during my time in Panama, his guidance was undeniable. He created a way for me to experience His might through the storms where his power echoed in thunder only I was meant to hear. The burdens I had kept internalized for so long were finally brought to light. In a private setting, surrounded by the strength of God fearing women, I shared my testimony and found my voice.”

On our trip to Mazatenango, Guatemala in February of 2026 my daughter Eva and I saw God work in many ways. The intent of our trip was to create and foster relationships. We saw God work in the way the villagers welcomed us into their culture by sharing the preparation of meals, customs, and traditions. We shared not only the gospel, but the issues in life we both face, and the many identities of God.

God was present and evident when Eva shared her testimony with middle school aged young women and spoke about future and choices. God was powerfully present when I met with the men of the church about the importance of men’s ministry. Admittedly I was more than a bit intimidated about speaking to men who live far more serious lives than me about the importance of men gathering to share feelings and burdens.

God was present in the response of those men. He revealed their hunger for brotherhood, He allowed them to be vulnerable about the issues they face and their need for brothers to share their burdens. He inspired them to start a weekly mens group. God worked through us in many ways that week but he also revealed Himself in new ways to us throughout the week. I can say without hesitation that I received more from God than I gave that week.

Cambodia,

How can I sum you up? You are so vast and multilayered, reflecting your Creator. I had the privilege of dwelling within your land and among your people for 2 months that I’ll never take for granted.
Your land displays what it means to rely on the Lord’s provision in each season. God, who created seasons, weather, the land and all that’s in it, knows you. You know Him because you bend towards His glory. The palm tree that’s planted firmly in a city of concrete knows Him. The acres of rice fields who have their own harvest season know Him. You are being supplied all your needs in each moment and in all terrains.

Your people display so much of the Father’s character. They seek love, truth, and justice. They lean into relationship like they were created for it. They demonstrate loyalty, honor, and respect. They show resilience and perseverance through unimaginable hardships. They radiate joy in every circumstance. And my favorite-their smiles reach beyond their eyes, how I would imagine the Father’s face to shine.

Cambodia, you are soil that my heart was planted, took root, grew, and flourished in. Leaving you was the hardest part of this whole experience. You were a place that felt safe and like home. You were a place I found fulfillment in. You were a place I sought and found God in over and over. I came and I left you physically, but you will hold onto a part of me forever. Thank you for allowing me to come and dwell, learn, grow, see, hear, smell, and experience all you have to offer to my open heart.
