Hey there, sis. It’s been a little while, and I wanted to check in on you.
We’re already four months into this new year, and I pray you’ve held on to the intentions you started with. Are you praying everyday, reading your bible daily, knocking the devil out with the Word? What's been going on?
Sometimes we start strong in January, and by April, life has happened. Schedules shifted. Responsibilities piled up. Fatigue set in. Discouragement crept in.
And before you know it, what we meant to make a priority slowly gets pushed to the side.
No shame, sis. No guilt here. This is a simple check-in.
Because if you started well but feel like you’ve fallen off, you are not alone and more importantly, you are not too far gone to begin again.
But before we talk about how to get back on track, let’s start with something foundational:
Why do we need the Word?
Because the Word of God is not just something we tick off our list.
It is our lifeline.
The Bible says in Matthew 4:4,
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
Notice He didn’t say visit the Word.
He said live by it.
That means the Word is not optional for a holy believer like yourself who wants to stay strong.
Go jump in your Word for it gives LIFE.
