I will never look at my shoes the same way. A man showed up at dad’s place one day after dark last week. He asked for some shoes. He said he was cold. Dad told him where he kept his shoes in the cabin. The man picked out the ones he wanted and left. The next day, dad found these outside. Dad wants to make art from them. No matter how many bad days I’ve had in my life, my shoes have never looked like this. I’ve always had more than one pair of shoes. They’ve always had soles. This makes me thankful for something I’ve taken for granted. I’m glad this man showed up at dad’s. I am thankful that I never had to walk a mile in his shoes. I am also thankful that I have a dad who would give his shoes to a stranger.

Dad has about 1,000 cans of food at his place that was donated. If anyone needs any food, just come by. He also has gourds and pumpkins left.

i had only heard of ralph vaughn a feller told me about him at paradise garden about a year ago i ended up one day in north georgia with time (a rare occurence.. not the north georgia part / /// the time part) i had asked around the day prior in chattanooga if anybody knew him even the the most hip....

This piece shows picking big fruit. The flowers represent children and the minnows represent the mamas. Dad added for the people to take up their cross and follow Jesus. In this time, mamas and babies surely need God. We all do, but I know so many single mamas out there who need help.

What you see at the art gallery. I just looked over and saw this in the floor. I did a double take when I saw the hands. 😂 This is a piece of art that dad is working on. He had a vision that showed people sticking their hands in the gold and when they removed their hands, gold was stuck in them. Dad interpreted this as the Government and others taking the people’s money. Jamie found dad the hands and coins online, so dad can get this finished. It’s an important message because there is definitely greed and corruption within our Government and Soceity.
