The festival starts on Saturday March 21, 2026 with the annual parade at 10:00 am and will end at 6:00 pm. On Sunday, March 22, we'll begin at 10:00 am and the Festival will close at 6:00 pm. One shuttle will pick up at the parking lot at 16th and Broad and drop at 24th and Broad. We will have another shuttle running from the parking lot located at 200 Orleans Street, which will drop at 26th and B
road. The shuttles will be running all day, both days. Traditional Irish musicians, bagpipers and dancers will perform throughout the weekend. Be sure to check out the band and dance stage schedules! In addition to great entertainment, there will be plenty of family fun, including children’s games, face painting and Irish-themed crafts. Over thirty Irish vendors will be in attendance! Food and refreshments will also be available. Enjoy the wonderful “Irish Surprise” prepared by St. Patrick’s Church Kitchen. Proceeds from the festival benefit the historic preservation of St. Patrick’s Church, a “little church with a big heart” built in the 1850′s by Irish Immigrants, and its outreach programs. Proceeds and donations also benefit the Church Hill Association, St. John’s Church, the Neighborhood Resource Center, Child Savers, McShin Foundation, Church Hill Boys and Girls Club, Anna Julia Cooper School, East End Pregnancy Center, Chimborazo Elementary School, St. Bridget's Youth Group, Henrico Christmas Mother, St. Gertrude High School, and many other neighborhood causes.
