We are blessed to work alongside such amazing mentors like Angel. Angel is the Re-entry Coordinator for Voices of Jubilee and we are grateful for his leadership in our community!

The 18-person cohort will comprise formerly incarcerated people and their family members, corrections and probation officers, representatives from criminal justice reform organizations and faith-based organizations that work in prisons.

When the U.S. Supreme Court decided Miller v. Alabama in 2012, I was incarcerated at Sussex II State Prison in Virginia. At that point, I had already spent nearly two decades behind bars for a crime I committed when I was 17 years old.
