Happy Feast Day of Saint Anthony of Padua!

Today at St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Revere, we celebrated the Feast of our beloved patron saint during the 4:00 PM Mass. Father Xavier and Father Paul concelebrated a beautiful liturgy, and Father Xavier delivered an inspiring homily reflecting on the life, faith, and extraordinary works of Saint Anthony.

Known for his love of the poor and his dedication to serving God, Saint Anthony continues to inspire the faithful around the world. Father Paul blessed St. Anthony bread and distributed it to parishioners in attendance.

During Mass, we also honored the retirement of Mrs. Donna Felzani. It seemed especially fitting that this recognition took place on June 13—the Feast of Saint Anthony, the parish she has served so wonderfully served for 13 years. Lisa DiFlumeri delivered a heartfelt tribute reflecting on Donna's many contributions over the years. Lisa also recognized Ms. Stephanie, who has faithfully served the program and will continue its mission as Director of Religious Education.

Father Xavier also shared the inspiring testimony of Raphael, who, twenty years ago, overcame brain cancer through faith, prayer, and the intercession of Saint Anthony, giving glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Following Mass, the St. Anthony Feast Barbecue brought together parishioners, families, and friends for an evening filled with fellowship, laughter, and celebration. From the children to adults, everyone enjoyed a wonderful time together. Alan Labella kept the crowd entertained with music and dancing, while delicious bbq, great company, and raffle prizes made the evening memorable.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special feast day, and a special thank you to Anna Tollis and all of the volunteers whose hard work helped make this beautiful celebration possible.

Today, June 13, we celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Anthony of Padua, one of the most beloved saints of the Church.

Known as the patron saint of lost things, Saint Anthony was a powerful preacher, a humble Franciscan, and a faithful servant of Christ whose love for God inspired countless people to deepen their faith.

As we conclude our Novena to Saint Anthony, let us ask for his intercession for our families, our parish, and all those in need of hope, healing, and guidance.

“Saint Anthony, pray for us, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.”

Happy Feast Day from all of us at St. Anthony of Padua Parish!

🌹 Lady Sodality Open House 🌹

What a beautiful and blessed evening we shared together!

Our Lady Sodality Open House was wonderfully attended, with more than 40 women gathering in faith and fellowship. The evening began with the Holy Rosary with special intentions, followed by a beautiful Mass celebrated by Father Paul, and concluded with an evening filled with friendship, laughter, refreshments, and fun.

We were especially blessed to welcome both familiar faces and new friends as we came together in devotion to our Blessed Mother and in service to our parish community.

The excitement continued with our Bracelet Bar activity, amazing raffles, and the opportunity to learn more about all that the Lady Sodality has planned for the coming year.

If you were unable to attend, there is still time to join! We are currently accepting new members and would love to welcome you into this wonderful community of Catholic women dedicated to faith, friendship, fellowship, and service.

Come grow with us in faith, build friendships, and be part of something special.

💙 All women of the parish are welcome.
🙏 Faith • Fellowship • Friendship • Service
🌹 Under the loving guidance of our Blessed Mother Mary

Thank you to all who attended!

On this Memorial Day, we pause in prayer and gratitude for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness, and love for others reflect the greatest commandment — to lay down one’s life for a friend (John 15:13).

Let us honor their memory not only with words but with lives lived in peace, service, and faith. May God bless the souls of the fallen, comfort their families, and protect those who continue to serve.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit! This Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, filling them with courage, wisdom, and faith to go out and share the Good News with the world.

Pentecost is often called the “Birthday of the Church” — a reminder that the Holy Spirit is still alive and moving among us today.

May the Holy Spirit fill our hearts with peace, strength, and renewed faith. 🕊️

As our Communion and Confirmation season comes to an end, today we celebrate our final First Holy Communion students receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist for the very first time. What a beautiful season it has been for our parish family.

Over the past several weeks, we have watched so many children and young adults take important steps in their journey of faith through the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Their smiles, prayers, excitement, and reverence have been a true blessing to witness.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students and deeply thankful to our families, catechists, volunteers, sponsors, musicians, and clergy who helped make each celebration so special.

Please continue to pray for all of our Communion and Confirmation students, that they may continue to grow in faith, remain close to Jesus, and always know the love of God in their lives.

“Let the children come to me.” – Matthew 19:14

May God bless all of our families today and always.

We are grateful to share that the Melito Irpino Boston Association raised a total of $4,850 for St. Anthony’s Church through their recent fundraiser in honor of Maria Santissima Incoronata, the statue of the Blessed Mother lovingly enshrined in our church.

Thank you to everyone who contributed with such generosity and devotion. Your support helps preserve the spiritual beauty and traditions of our parish.

A heartfelt thank you to the Melito Irpino Boston Association and the DiFlumeri Family for their dedication to our faith community here at St. Anthony’s.

Let us continue to honor Maria Santissima Incoronata in our prayers and through acts of love and faith.
