🌟 WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY AT ST. ANTHONY’S! 🌟
Our Faith Formation Open House / Meet the Teacher and Youth Car Wash were a tremendous success, and our hearts are so full after such a beautiful day of faith, family, community, and FUN! ❤️
☕️🥐 OPEN HOUSE & MEET THE TEACHER
Our morning began with breakfast and a wonderful gathering of our Faith Formation families. Father Paul welcomed everyone and opened our morning in prayer.
Following Father Paul’s opening remarks, Ms. Stephanie led us in a special moment of silence as we remembered cherished loved ones of our families and teachers who entered eternal rest during our summer break. We ask our parish community to please continue to keep Lorraine Marie Miles, Richard Cannata, Virginia Barbuto, and Francisco Luis Gomez Pemberthy and their families in your prayers. 🕯️🙏
Ms. Stephanie then shared everything ahead for our children this year—our Faith Formation program, upcoming changes, procedures, special events, sacramental preparation, family involvement, and all of the exciting things planned for the 2026–2027 Faith Formation year!
Ms. Noelle shared what the Confirmation journey entails with families and we cannot wait for Passion Play!
Ms. Lizz spoke with our families about Altar Serving, and we were thrilled to have new children sign up to serve!❤️⛪️
The morning concluded with our children meeting their teachers. Seeing our parish hall filled with children, parents, grandparents, teachers, and families was truly special. It was a beautiful morning of unity, community, and faith.
To every parent, grandparent, family member, teacher, and student who joined us this morning—THANK YOU! We are so excited for the year ahead!
🚗🧽 AND THEN… THE CAR WASH! 🫧
How can we possibly say THANK YOU enough?!
Our children washed hundreds of cars today, and there was barely a break from beginning to end! They worked hard, laughed, got soaked, helped one another, and had an absolute BLAST. By the end of the day, some of them still didn’t want to leave!
A huge thank you to EVERY student who came out at some point today to work and support our Youth Programs. We are so proud of all of you!
We also want to give an extra-special thank you to the Ferro Family, Duffy Family, King Family, Krabey Family, and Caruso Family, who were there with us for the entire day, helping wherever they were needed and making this event such a success. Your generosity of time and support meant so much to us. ❤️
🍕 A very special thank you to Mr. Robert Marra for generously donating a pizza party for our children! After washing cars all day, it was definitely appreciated—and very well deserved!
And finally, to every parishioner, community member, parish family, friend, and neighbor who pulled into our parking lot today, donated, encouraged our kids, shared our event, or simply stopped by to support them:
THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!
Today was about so much more than an Open House or a Car Wash. It was about bringing our parish families together, giving our children a chance to serve, laugh, work together, and feel the support of the community around them.
Days like today remind us what makes St. Anthony’s such a special place.
May God bless every person who helped make today possible, and may He bless our children, families, catechists, and parish community as we begin another wonderful year together.
❤️🙏 THANK YOU, ST. ANTHONY’S FAMILY! What a way to begin our 2026–2027 Faith Formation year! 🙏❤️
