Got a reminder last night that life is fragile. A cottonwood came down on our neighbor's carport. Their vehicles are okay. Our trailer was protected by a guardian angel disguised as a tree.

All told, the damage was surprisingly slight. Yet it was a clear reminder that life is but a v***r.
