Making life style choices that fills your heart with joy and nurtures your soul is key to loving your life! I count my blessings today and share a small bit of my life over the past few months.

I went to bed sick with a “common cold” last Friday, that now-a-days can become a major health crisis for me. Monday I tuned into NPR and was devastated to learn of the crisis in the Middle East.

I’m grateful for my life that I woke up, when so many on both sides of this conflict had the choice taken from them.

I thought this post was going to be about the way I find fulfillment in life. The forms of relaxation that brings me joy and supports my heath and to invite to to join my yoga class this evening. #

My teacher John Welwood taught me that it’s essential to learn how to hold the yes and no of life’s challenges to help us from living through the constant lens of trauma.

Sometimes it’s just hard, when “we” are constantly being bombarded with the atrocities that we witness. I have Israeli and Palestinian friends everyone hearts are broken. But still I say

Another week, another Wednesday and another chance to catch the vibes of a sound bath as we enjoy the sunset from Gene Coulon Beach Park in Renton, with Anne Marie & Cristhal. We invite you to bring your bowls or other instruments. Our intention is to send positive healing transmissions to All sentient life. We join our hearts with the heart of the Gaia, and the heart of the Galactic Universe. Then with the power of the crystal bowls our transmissions are sent out in the 7 directions… join us tonight for meditation, sound bath, laughter and connection with community.

Acupuncturist Katherine Ting, has been an incredible partner on my path of healing. I see Dr. Ting weekly and over the past year she has speeded up my recovery, by focusing on waking up the memory of my nerves in my back, right leg and foot that were damaged by my fall.

Now my gut health needs some love. This picture of my bloated belly, is a result of pancreatic insufficiency. It’s no bueno, and is very embarrassing, my body stops breaking down foods, and believe me you don’t want to be down wind from me! In addition to her treatments I am juicing and will start a (mostly) raw foods diet, I will have have homemade bone broths and vegetable soups… because I love soup and my body wants the warmth.

I have about 25 needles in me in this picture!

I’m committed to a complete recovery of my health and and body. I’m grateful that my back wasn’t broken, I’m grateful for so much in my life.
