When you go into competition or battle with an opposition the number one goal is to stop or do away with their greatest weapon. For example, in basketball the coach will identify the best player or biggest threat to his team and make a plan to limit that players impact in the game.

While in spiritual battle the enemy is trying to do away with our greatest weapon, which is our relationship with Jesus Christ. He will attack our reading and praying. He will begin to move us away from the truth’s, and begin to present his lies. He will attempt to move us from the peace, and joy and move us into anxiousness, and fear.

We also must realize that our greatest weapon against the enemy is the word of God, is our prayer life, is standing upon the promises, power and authority of Christ.

I want to encourage someone who is in a battle today to get your weapon back in your hand, get yourself anchored in Christ truth and celebrate the victory over your battle.

Don’t desire to be more like Christ, but despise the refining, and purifying stage. Don’t desire to have a greater anointing, and despise the pressing. Don’t desire a greater testimony, and despise the testing. It has to happen.

As we walk this walk of life, us living in comfort is not God’s primary interest. Just as a tree must be pruned for a great harvest, God sometimes causes pain in us to bring forth greater spiritual growth in our lives.

Don’t resist the pruning today. It is for our good, and his glory!

It doesn’t matter how many educational degrees are in your name, it doesn’t matter the title/position before or after your name. It doesn’t matter how much land is in your name, or how many bank accounts in your name.

If your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life all that other stuff is unimportant.

Under Moses leadership the children of Israel did not inherit the land promised to them because of fear. Today, be sure that you don’t miss out on your promised land because of fear. Trust God, he will NEVER fail!

With God, we don't always know the why until we are on the journey. Make a choice to obey God today, even if it doesn't make sense to us now it will in the end. We can trust where God is leading us, it is to a place of more!

While we are more concerned about the destination, rather than the route. God is more concerned about the route, than the destination.

It is the route to our destiny that we are developed. Each heartbreak, test, trial, failure, or success strengthens us for the destination.

God will not give us the final destination if we do not have the strength to bear the weight of that blessing, promise, or dream. That strength is built on the route. Do not attempt to bypass the route, learn and mature from each situation we face.

Pharaoh sought to kill Moses not because of who he was then, but because he would one day be the deliverer for Israel.

Herod sought to kill baby Jesus not because of who he was then as a baby, but because of what it would mean when he would go to the cross.

Saul sought to kill David not because of who he was then, but because one day he would take his kingship.

Satan maybe trying to kill you right now, because he knows God is going to do great and mighty things through you one day. One day you will look back at this battle and it will all make sense. How Satan meant it for evil, but God is going to turn it for your good.

The weapon is formed, but it will not prosper!
