Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and selfless love of those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer or a long weekend — it’s a moment to pause with gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy because others were willing to lay everything down.

For many families, this day carries memories that are both proud and painful. We honor those stories today, and we honor the heroes behind them.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
