National Day of Prayer

Our Community Prayer Service was a success. What a great evening. So many faith communities gathered together for one unified voice, just prayer and praise to God.

Thank you to all who joined us! May God bless our community!

Leaders from eight worship communities joined to lead the service in prayer and worship, each with a specific theme:
Deacon Chris Germak, Immaculate Conception- The Lord Magnified
Major Paul Knickerbocker, Salvation Army- Community Needs/ Agencies
Pastor Tod Huston, First Church of God-Local Leadership/Law Enforcement
Pastor Bill Davis, Full Gospel Mission-National Leadership
Pastor Jaipaul Singh, Ravenna Assembly of God-Children/Youth
Pastor Tracey Ogden-Johnson, Ravenna Church of the Nazarene-SchoolsPastor Dan Harrison, Ravenna Assembly of God- Prodigal Coming Home
Pastor Jason Moore, Passion Community Church-Unity

Praise Music was led by Pastor Dan Harrison, Isaac Winland, Jennifer Moore, and Dory Del Savio (music ministers from three Ravenna churches)

Thank to all who joined us for our Community Thanksgiving Service this afternoon at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. Thank you to the pastors who played a part: Bill Davis, Dan Harrington, Paul Knickerbocker and Bill Kraynak and also Deacon Chris Germak. Thank you Jay Nader for providing music. Rev. Dan Harrington played a beautiful musical meditation on the piano. Major Paul Knickerbocker from Salvation Army provided an inspirational sermon about always giving thanks in all things.
We continued our gathing in the social hall at our fellowship reception.
There is nothing like joining our prayer of thanksgiving as one voice in praise and worship. If you missed this year, we will gather again in 2026. Look for it!

Happy Thanksgiving
