Mission Statement:
At Becoming Vessels of Honor, our mission is to passionately teach and preach the Word of God, guiding believers to deepen their faith, knowledge, and relationship with Jesus Christ. Vision Statement:
Our vision at Becoming Vessels of Honor is to see a world where every believer embraces their God-given purpose, radiating the light of Christ and embodying the virtues of faith, h
ope, and love. As we follow Jesus' example, we envision a community of faithful disciples, transformed by the Holy Spirit, spreading the Gospel, and bringing healing to broken hearts and lives. Statement of Faith:
We believe in the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
[Matthew 28:19 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."]
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, and glorious resurrection.
[John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."]
We believe in the redemptive power of Christ's blood, granting forgiveness of sins and eternal life to all who repent and accept Him as Savior.
[Ephesians 1:7 - "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace."]
We believe in the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence, guiding, empowering, and sanctifying believers to live a life of holiness and righteousness.
[Galatians 5:22-23 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."]
We believe in the authority of the Holy Scriptures, the inspired Word of God, which is our guide for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
[2 Timothy 3:16-17 - "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."]
We believe in the importance of the Church, the body of Christ, where believers gather for worship, fellowship, and the edification of one another.
[Hebrews 10:24-25 - "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."]
We believe in the Great Commission, that we are called to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations, leading people to salvation in Jesus Christ.
[Matthew 28:18-20 - "And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'"]
In unity with these core beliefs, we, at Becoming Vessels of Honor, dedicate ourselves to the pursuit of God's will and the fulfillment of His kingdom on earth. Through prayer, study, worship, and service, we seek to be vessels that bring glory to God and blessings to humanity.
