Leaders, be honest.
What part of leading do you carry home and never say out loud?

I will go first.

For me it is the weight after the building goes quiet.
The calls I answered.
The people I steadied.
The problems I solved and still replay on the drive home.

Then I walk into my house and my kids just need their dad.
Not the manager.
Not the strong one.
Just dad.

Some nights I have to pray and lay it down before I can be present at home.
That is real.
