After much prayer, consideration, and seeking counsel from other church leaders, the elders have made the very difficult decision to conclude the ministries of Belle City Church on March 30th.

We are so thankful for the time that we have been able to support, encourage, and spur each other on for the Gospel these last 8 years. We will miss seeing you every week, but we trust that the Lord will provide each of you a new church home to worship and serve in. Thank you for your service, support, and care as we have reached Racine and the surrounding area with the Good News of Jesus.

Out of an abundance of caution, the elders have made the decision to not meet in person this week due to the extreme weather forecasted for Sunday morning, January 19.

Pastor Justin will be doing a Facebook live to share a devotional at 10am tomorrow morning if you are able to join. We will attempt to then load that video to YouTube for those who prefer to use that.

Stay safe and warm these next few days. We will continue to pray for you all until we meet again next Sunday.

This past Sunday, we talked about how we approach God in prayer with the story of Mary. Mary was told about being pregnant with Jesus. God had a plan in place. God put people like Elizabeth and Joseph around her to encourage and support her. All of this was probably not Mary's plan for her life but she humbled herself to God's plan then worshipped Him.

How can we pray and live life like Mary this week? Where do we need to stop putting God in a box to answer the way we want? Where can we humble ourselves to His ways and rest on His unchanging truths?
