Good morning. Mike’s journey started in Brooklyn, where he was a kid with a basketball and a dream. His road wasn’t always easy. He faced setbacks and made mistakes, but education, basketball, and people who believed in him helped him find his way forward.

That journey eventually brought him to Seattle University, where he played basketball and studied Criminal Justice.

Years later, Mike became “Coach” and dedicated himself to helping young people find their own path. As a mentor and Dean of Students, he encouraged countless kids to believe in their potential and keep working toward a better future.

Mike once wrote in an essay for school:

“It’s a tough road to success, but I plan on being on that road.”

He stayed on that road. And along the way, he helped others find theirs.

That’s the heart of Stay Focused.
