John Biermann brings us more words of encouragement.....
Sometimes life seems crazy doesn’t it? Food costs more, gasoline costs more and well, everything costs more. The news around the world is hard to watch at times and many people are totally unsure of what comes next. The big news right now is that we may not be able to purchase all the Christmas gifts we want to receive and give! Wait a minute, isn’t Jesus the biggest Christmas gift? Things are out of whack aren’t they. You may suffer from a broken heart, a broken life and Jesus says, Come to the Father!
In a Christian song I am reminded that every tear you cry is precious to the Lord in his sight. The song writer reminds us to Come to the Father in Jesus the Son. Why is it that we only view what is happening around us as the real life we live. Isn’t real life, living in a relationship with Jesus? When we turn our eyes upon Jesus, we are looking at the very love of God.
Everything that God has done, has been done for us in Jesus Christ. The Power of his Written Word (the Bible) shares the power of Jesus on the Cross to bring us back to Him – for eternity! Everything God has done is done so that you might come in faith to Him! Even in crazy times like this, God invites us to Come!
Nothing you’ve done could make God love you less or close the door! Everything he’s done was done so that you might come! Never give up on God, he never gives up on you! He wants you to come, to believe in Him and to live with Him.
In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says to us: Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Wow, what an invitation to Come! If you have never received Jesus into your heart, now is the time, even in these crazy times. Come to him in prayer and ask Jesus to be your savior, to love you, to forgive you and to bring you real life!! If you are already a Christian, pray to Jesus to renew your faith in him each and every day.
Jesus is the constant in life, who will never leave you or forsake you. When you come to him, he is yours and you are his – for life. He will love you with an everlasting love. Deal with your life through a relationship with the one who has invited you to Come to Him – Jesus!
