Zion's Bricks

Zion's Bricks was founded to enable others to build really cool LDS Temples themselves. I started Zion's Bricks because I wanted to build the Salt Lake Temple out of Legos (after I saw others build some really cool Lego creations) ... but no matter how hard I searched the internet ... there simply was no place to secure "building instructions." Soon thereafter ... I discovered Lego Digital Designe

r Software ... and after watching a 10 minute tutorial video on YouTube ... away I went. Within 2 weeks ... I had drawn up plans for the Salt Lake Temple (the 7,500+ brick version) ... and after all of my BrickLink Lego orders arrived in the mail ... I was able to complete the structure in 3 months total. A lot of people commented on my little "project" as I was building it ... so I decided to make the "building instructions" freely available so that others could share in the same fun and excitement.

PS ... once a year we will let one family build the Lego Salt Lake City Temple with our Legos for free. We will announce the drawing each year so that everyone who wants to participate can have the chance to be selected. All that we ask in return is that once you have completed building the structure ... that you post some pictures on your page for all your friends to see :)
