Good morning to you!

The Wise and Foolish Builders

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching,
29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law. (Matthew 7:24-28; NIV)

Building our lives upon the foundation that Jesus Christ laid for us is most powerful.

Building our lives upon the teachings of Jesus Christ is very wise!

God cause His children to succeed during the storms of life.

Happy Friday!

Good morning to you!

“Glory To God”

24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—
25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. (See - Jude 1; NIV)

Glory:
majesty
a thing belonging to God
the kingly majesty which belongs to him as supreme ruler, majesty in the sense of the absolute perfection of the deity

25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Happy Friday!

Good afternoon to you!

“True power came down from heaven “

38 ¶ Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40 ¶ Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.fn And Jesus lifted up Hiseyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
42 “And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”
43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” (See - John 11:38-44; NKJV)

Jesus Christ called the dead man Lazarus from his grave and he came forth alive! This is “true power”!

44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

Some claim to have power, but are not able to raise the dead nor heal the sick. Be aware of those that claim that they can do what Jesus Christ did but cannot do it.

Good morning to you!

“Walk in wisdom”

Wisdom:

- wisdom (in a good sense):—skilful, wisdom, wisely, wit.

- believers endowed with spiritual and practical wisdom

14 This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,
19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,
20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (See - Ephesians 5:14-20; NIV)

Good afternoon!

“The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life infnChrist Jesus our Lord. (See - Romans 6:15-23)

Sin:
that which is done wrong, sin, an offence, a violation of the divine law in thought or in act

A sin, offence, sinful

a sinning, whether it occurs by omission or commission, in thought and feeling or in speech and action.

Sin is the reason that our choices leads to broken hearts and disappointments.

Sin deceives us into believing that our actions or inactions does not matter to God.

Sin seek to persuade us that eternal salvation is a myth and not the reality.

Sin leads to self gratification without respect and honor for God’s will.

Sin leads the disobedient person to missing eternal life.

Sin would have us to believe that loving our neighbors as ourselves is optional, when it is not.

Sin destroys healthy relationships without any apologizes.

Sin and sinning are not okay with God.

Sin, devastates all that is good and wonderful.

Sin, divides people and nations.

Sin distracts us from praising God and appreciating God’s grace and mercy.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God?

Are you willing to be obedient to God by becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ?

Good morning!

A Living Sacrifice
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (See - Romans 12:1-2; NIV)

Living sacrifice - a sacrifice, victim

Being a sacrifice, a victim, will require one to suffer for the cause of Christ Jesus. In accordance to His commandments.

It requires us to love our enemies rather than hate our enemies.

Being willing to be a victim, what a powerful way to represent Jesus the Christ.

Conforming to this world is not the way to please the almighty God.

Allowing God, through His powerful word, to transform us into human beings of like mindedness to God is the goal.

Allowing God to renew our minds and hearts with the word that came down from heaven is necessary.

Good morning!

Laboring and Prospering with the LORD
1 ¶ A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon.

Unless the LORD builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate. (See - Psalms 127; NKJV)

Good morning!

“Keep God’s commandment, Statutes, Judgements, and diligently teach them to our children”

5 “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
6 ¶ “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
7 “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
8 “You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
9 “You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. (See - Deuteronomy 6:1-9)

In the Old Testament teachings, the Israelites were charged to observe God’s commandment, His statutes, and His judgements. They were to be careful to observe it, that is, the commandment of God.

The Israelites were to teach their children diligently the ways of God:
7 “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

We, today should learn from the above Old Testament teaching and keep Jesus Christ’s commandments and diligently teach Jesus Christ to our children.

Here is to making this world a better place to live in.

Good morning!

“Seek those things which are above, where Christ is”

1 ¶ If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (See - Colossians 3:1-10, NKJV)

Set your mind on things above, not on the things on the earth:

What is the will of God for each of us that came down from heaven? Are we following that word that came down from heaven in accordance with the bible?

What is our preference to participate in, those things that came down from heaven or those things that’s of the earth?

Seeking those things that are above will lead to eternal blessings from God which is above.

Happy Friday!
