Good morning!

“Seek those things which are above, where Christ is”

1 ¶ If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (See - Colossians 3:1-10, NKJV)

Set your mind on things above, not on the things on the earth:

What is the will of God for each of us that came down from heaven? Are we following that word that came down from heaven in accordance with the bible?

What is our preference to participate in, those things that came down from heaven or those things that’s of the earth?

Seeking those things that are above will lead to eternal blessings from God which is above.

Good morning!

1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. (See - 1 Peter chapter 2, NIV)

Putting away sinful behavior and adding to your life spiritual behavior is what God desires of us.

Good evening!

“The conclusion of the matter”

13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (See - Ecclesiastes 12:)

Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.

Good morning!

“Using sadness for good“

It is nothing like the feeling of having to bury a love one to remind us about how frail we all really are. But, such is life for us that are still here.

Let us use such an occasion as a refresher that provokes us to having a more serious conversation about our own salvation.

We buried my oldest brother on yesterday (Friday). I’m having to remember that The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised (Job 1:21)”.

Enjoy the weekend!

Good morning!

8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coinsfn and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?
9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’
10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (See - Luke chapter 15)

Seeking and searching the scripture for God’s pathway to heaven is absolutely paramount. We all should study God’s word to confirm the correctness of our path.

There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Wow! Changing our minds about how we view sin and following after Jesus Christ is the path forward for salvation.

Good morning!

1 fnFor the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba. Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.
7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (See - Psalm 51; NIV)

Our sins are forgiven today when we are washed in baptismal according to the New Testament teachings.

Good morning!

What do you think our world would be like if we all decided to repent of our sins?

1 ¶ There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
3 “I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
4 “Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 “I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” (See - Luke 13:1-5; NKJV)

Repent:
to change one's mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins

to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider (morally, feel compunction):—repent.

Choosing to do God’s will means changing our minds about our own sins and our own ways and choosing to follow Jesus Christ and striving daily to keep His commandments.

Good evening!

32 ¶ “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
33 “But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. See - Matthew 10 chapter; NKJV)

Confess -
"to declare openly by way of speaking out freely, such confession being the effect of deep conviction of facts,"

Wow! The life that we live should exemplify our confession in Jesus Christ. What a beautiful situation to be deeply convicted of.

Good morning!

8 ¶ Be sober, be vigilant; becausefnyour adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (See - 1 Peter 5:1-14, NKJV)

Satan, the devil, the adversary of God, and the adversary of Christian believers, is walking about looking for someone to devour.
Satan is able swallow up and destroy us spiritually speaking when we choose to follow after sinful ways such as:
Jealousy, envy, malice, hatred, prejudices, divisiveness, self will, Pride, etc. Let us be about those things of God that brings about peace and joy for us and for mankind.

Happy Friday!
