Hands International Ministries is a non profit organization for the purpose of leading the body of Christ to extend its hands to all nations in hopes of leading those we encounter to know Jesus loves them. We currently are partnering with Hatian pastors and churches in three communities in Haiti to provide resources for schools, orphanages, churches and the people of their communities. We believe
education is an important key in serving Haiti and helping them become self-sufficient. We currently have several different projects where we need your help! Project One

School Building Fundraiser for the Village of Piatre - We need to raise $30,000 to build a school. Due to impoverished conditions, the majority of the children in this village have never been to school. Up until 2011, the nearest school was approximately 8 to 10 miles away to which the children must walk to attend, which is not only impractical, but unsafe. In order for a few children to go to school, parents must relocate to Mont-Rouis or Saint- Marc, the two main cities in the region. Unfortunately, due to obvious financial hardships, parents cannot afford to relocate. In September 2011, Pastor Sidor opened a primary school, "Center of Education Lahai’Roi of Piatre." We just celebrated the graduation of the 2011-2014 First 3 Years Kindergarten Graduation Promotion. The current school meets in the church (three classes inside of the church and two classes outside in a tent). You can imagine how difficult it is for the students and teachers to make real progress in theses conditions. The land for the new school has been payed in full, surveyed and cleared. While our team was in Haiti the beginning of June, we walked the land and met with one of the local contractors to discuss some options for the expansion.
1. School building 1000 sq ft will cost approximately $22,000.00
This would be a Concrete Foundation, Concrete Floor with Concrete block walls, Metal roof ,windows and doors complete.
2. Septic system with dual bathrooms, 2 toilets, 2 sinks in each. Installing a water tank for proper washing and flushing
Total Estimated cost $12,000
3. We will be looking into a water filtering system so that we can properly treat the water that is in this area.
4. Kitchen with Gas cookers $7500
