Hello VBS Team!!
Wow! It’s all I can say is how blessed we are to have a team members like you serving on our vacation Bible school team this past week! We had an awesome week and God truly blessed! Thank you for everything you did to make vacation Bible school a great ministry to our community this week!

Tomorrow is vacation Bible school Sunday. Kids will be singing in th service. If you can wear your vacation Bible school T-shirt tomorrow!

Tomorrow is also donuts with Dad! So we look forward to celebrating all of our dad’s tomorrow!!

Hello Families!!

We had an awesome week at VBS!! Come back tonight for a VBS Celebration and Glow Party!!!

This is event is for the entire family---Do Not Drop your kids off!!! Parents need to stay with their kids!

Doors open at 5:30pm. Arrive by 5:45pm. Kids will sing first up at 6:00pm. Join us in the Worship Center.

After our celebration in the worship center, we will enjoy snacks in our fellowship hall, then a glow party in our gym. You can dress your kids in glow necklaces, wristbands, etc. \

A few reminders:

· Vacation Bible School Tshirts: We have a t-shirt for each child that attends VBS this week. If you would like to donate for the t-shirt to help with this expense, the cost for each t-shirt is $5.00.
· Mission Offering: This week we will be taking up an offering to support Samaritans Purse: Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Christmas. These shoeboxes are filled with toys and supplies that help children all around the world. We will be raising funds to put a soccer ball and an air pump in these boxes. We make this a fun time for the kids by having girls versus boys competing to see who brings in the most offering. We will have a bucket for girls and a bucket for boys in our worship center where kids can place their offering in. At the end of each night, we will announce who is in the lead. At the end of the week, we will announce our winner. If you wish to donate by check, please make the check out to Macland Baptist Church and write in the note line, “Shoebox Ministry Donation.” One soccer ball costs $6.00. We would love to raise $2,500 to put 500 soccer balls in these boxes. The Girls won last night!!!! Who will win overall tonight???? We have collected $1400 so far!!
· Mission Project: Bring in School Supplies to help with our Mission Project of Helping Homeless School Kids in Cobb County with Back to School Items. We need: pocket folders, 1-subject spiral notebooks, composition notebook, crayons-24 pack, pencils, notebook paper, pencil pouch, glue sticks, wooden ruler, pencil sharpener & big pink erasers. Place donated items in the atrium / welcome center area.
Food Allergies: If your child has a food allergy, you may send in a snack with them each night for them to enjoy during our fellowship time tonight.
