Upward Sports Poteau Upward Basketball & Cheerleading in Poteau Discounts for multiple children are available. Practice days Monday, Tuesday OR Thursday.

Here at Upward Sports Poteau we put Jesus 1st, our basketball and cheerleading program is for all area kids in Pre-K (age 4) through 6th grade. There is a participation fee of $65 (early registration) and $85 (late registration) for each child you register, cheer or basketball, that is due when you register. The fee includes (Basketball):

Teams practice once a week for 1 hour. (8 game season)

Some unique features to Upward Sports are:
*Each child is evaluated to create balanced teams that are competitive.
*Upward utilizes a unique sub system which guarantees every child equal playing time.
*Upward aims to teach both athletic skill as well as values for success on and off the playing field or court.
*Upward prioritizes a family friendly schedule by conducting one hour practices and games each week.
*With supportive coaches and a positive sports environment, Upward is designed to bring out the “winner” in every child regardless of the game’s final score.

Join us for Upward Sports Night at the Ballpark on Saturday, May 16 at Arvest Ballpark as the Northwest Arkansas Naturals take on the Arkansas Travelers!

Let’s celebrate our athletes with an unforgettable night of baseball and family fun!

✨ Special Night Highlights:
🐾 Meet Bluey in real life! Snap a photo and enjoy the smiles for the first two hours of the game.
🏃‍♂️ Kids Run the Bases after the game!
🎉 Upward Players & Coaches On-Field Recognition before the game! (Wear your jerseys!)

🕓 Gates Open: 4:30 PM
⚾ Game Time: 6:05 PM

📣 Upward athletes & coaches:
Meet on the concourse near Section 117 at 5:25 PM to head down to the field for recognition!

If you missed the last game and/or the end of season celebration and your participant did not get their medal I will be at Faith Community Church 411 Clayton Ave Sunday March 29th @ 4:30 PM. I still have a few sets of pictures and have sent reminder texts.I also have gifts for the coaches that missed the celebration. Please make arrangements to pick up. Hope to see you Sunday!!!!
