I apologize for not posting sooner. It has been so disappointing . . . once the class plans were known there were no longer enough persons interested. It seems likely that was at least partially due the seasons changing. One person who had wanted to take the class came from a country where there had been no snow. Also having parts of the class in 3 different towns meant more travel during winter & during darkness. I hope & pray all who want to take a CNA class will be able to find a way to do so.

Once again . . . LAST CHANCE! NICC has prepared a class schedule. Registrations must be in by no later than December 2nd. Orientation is on Monday December 5th. Classes will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Orientation and lectures will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. Labs will be at NICC Calmar. Clinicals at West Union Good Samaritan Center. No classes over Christmas. If you need help with tuition, you may apply for sponsorship by St. Paul-Postville Barnabas Uplift. NO COST FOR TRAINING, if eligible.

Free CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) training
will be provided at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville,IA
through the Barnabas Uplift Program.

Training is available at no cost to applicants with incomes
at or below 200% of federal poverty income guidelines:
for one person $27,180 or less
and $55,2500 or less for a family of four.

Those who pass the class will receive funding for the State tests.
