Join us this summer for our annual Compassion Camp! Children ages 5-12 are invited to explore our theme: What all living things need to live—shelter, food, water, air, and community. 🏠🍎💧🌬

We will also learn ways to have compassion for the living earth, especially in our local ecosystems. 🌏

Through awareness, gratitude, wonderment, reciprocity, and kinship, children will consider how to become co-sustainers and participants in the work of God’s creation.

Camp will be held in Trinity’s Parish House from 9 am to noon July 27 to July 31. A snack will be provided each day.

Email [email protected] for more information or to sign up. All are welcome!

AMERICA 250 AT TRINITY 🇺🇸
Stories from Portsmouth’s Past
Post 4 of 5

Some of Trinity’s most important history is found in its details.

The church contains six stained glass windows by Louis Comfort Tiffany, including a window Tiffany himself reportedly considered among his best works.

The original baptismal font from 1762 still survives. A Bible dedicated to the church at its founding in 1762 is also preserved there today.

More than 260 years later, pieces of Trinity’s earliest story are still in active use and care. You are welcome to come view them.

Follow along as we share more stories from Trinity’s history.

We’re excited to announce Thursdays at Trinity, our new community food pantry ministry!

Every Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm, we’ll be providing both shelf-stable food and fresh food items to neighbors in need.

This ministry is made possible through our partnership with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore and the support of generous community partners and volunteers who share our commitment to caring for our neighbors. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and support.

Donations of nonperishable food items and personal hygiene products are always welcome and help us continue this important outreach. Volunteers are also appreciated as we grow this ministry.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our community, one Thursday at a time.
