Godly Play is back! Beginning September 13, children ages 5–11 are invited to join us for Godly Play each Sunday during our 10:30 am Eucharist.

Godly Play is a Montessori-inspired approach to Christian formation that invites children to wonder, listen, explore, and respond to the stories of our faith. Through storytelling, hands-on materials, quiet reflection, and open-ended wondering, children encounter Scripture and begin to discover their own relationship with God in a welcoming and beautiful environment.

We’re excited to welcome our children back for another year of wonder, worship, and discovering God’s story together!

Our nursery is open all year for children ages 0-4, beginning at 9 am on Sundays. All of our teachers are Safe Church certified and have experience working with children of all ages.

This year, Trinity is grateful to partner with our neighbors at Presbyterian Church - Portsmouth, VA in supporting Peace, Love & a Bag of Chips, a ministry that provides meals and care to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

On the fifth Sundays of the month, Trinity volunteers are helping lead these feeding events — sharing food, fellowship, and kindness with our community.

Thank-you to everyone who gives their time, prepares food, serves meals, and shows up with a generous heart. We’re grateful to be part of this ministry alongside First Presbyterian.

Are you looking for a deeper understanding of your faith, Scripture, and the Christian tradition? Registration is now open for the upcoming Education for Ministry (EfM) program. Join us for an information session on Sunday, August 30, following our 10:30 am Eucharist.

EfM is a small-group learning experience that brings together study, reflection, and conversation as participants explore the Bible, church history, theology, and how faith shapes our daily lives. No matter where you are on your faith journey, EfM offers a welcoming space to ask questions, grow in knowledge, and build meaningful relationships with others.
