As a Catholic, I believe in all Church teachings including the fact that life begins at conception and ends at natural death. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church “abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes” (CCC 2271). Yesterday, Massachusetts became the 10th state to allow abortions at any point in pregnancy (see link in comments). I am troubled by this news, but also motivated. I need to get more involved in promoting and protecting life.

Give Up Worry For Lent comes to Florida this Monday and Tuesday as I’ll be leading a Lenten parish mission at Christ the King Catholic Church. I’ve been enjoying the great weather and the wonderful parishioners I’ve met while speaking at all the Masses this weekend. If you’re in the area make it a point to stop on by Monday and Tuesday at 7 PM. I’d love to see you!
