🙏 Palm Sunday Prayer: “Lift Us Up, O Lord”

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

“Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.”

This is for the people of God all over the world.
Heavenly Father,
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus—
We come before You this Palm Sunday morning,
Humbled… yet hopeful,
Broken… yet believing,
Burdened… yet standing on Your Word.
Lord, this is the day that You have made—
And we choose to rejoice and be glad in it!
Father, we lift up the people of God today.
You see everything that is going on in this world—
The wars… the violence… the confusion…
The dysfunction in families…
The struggles in our communities…
The strongholds of addiction, drugs, and despair…
But Lord, we declare this morning—
You are still in control!
And Father, in the name of Jesus,
We lift up every soldier that is in war right now—
Those on the front lines…
Those far away from home…
Those facing danger day and night…
Lord, cover them with Your protection!
Be their shield and their refuge!
Guard their minds from fear…
Strengthen their hearts in the midst of battle…
Bring them home safely, Father—
Heal those who are wounded…
Comfort the families who are praying and waiting…
Let Your peace rest even in the middle of chaos,
And remind them that You are with them wherever they go!
Now Father, we ask You to lift us up out of every low place.
Pull us out of depression…
Pull us out of lack…
Pull us out of anything that is keeping us bound!
Order our steps, Lord—
Guide our feet in righteousness,
That we may walk in purpose, power, and victory!
Lord, we lay every burden at the altar today—
Every heavy heart…
Every silent struggle…
Every hidden pain…
And we say, “Thank You, Lord,”
Not just for what You’ve already done—
But for what You are about to do!
Father, save our children—
Cover our sons and daughters!
Protect their minds… guard their hearts…
Keep them from danger seen and unseen.
Lord, we ask You to cover our communities—
From Portland to every city across this nation.
Bring unity, Lord—
Among African Americans, Africans, Hispanics, Russians, and all people.
Break down division…
Destroy hatred…
And let Your love rise above everything!
Jesus, as You rode into Jerusalem on this Palm Sunday,
The people cried, “Hosanna!”—
“Save us now!”
So today, Lord, we cry out—
Hosanna! Save us now! Deliver us now! Heal us now!
Sprinkle the blood of Jesus over us—
Over our homes…
Over our families…
Over our churches…
Over our communities…
Let Your power fall fresh this morning!
Let healing flow…
Let deliverance break out…
Let joy be restored!
And Father, every word that comes out of my mouth today—
Let it move forward with power, authority, and anointing!
Let it reach hearts…
Let it change lives…
Let it glorify You!
We give You praise…
We give You honor…
And we give You all the glory!
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray—
