I’m sitting here with such a full heart after last night. 💛 What a beautiful day and night, filled with so much joy, love, and kindness.

The weather was perfect, and worship took so many beautiful forms. We sang, danced, painted, and lifted flags. We heard people share from their hearts and met servants who pour so much of themselves into caring for others. Everywhere I looked, there was something to be grateful for.

To our worship teams, speakers, artists, dancers, ministries, organizations, vendors, and every volunteer who worked so hard to bring this evening together: thank you. I know there was time, preparation, and work behind so much of what we enjoyed. I saw you showing up, lending a hand, and loving people. These worship events happen because people keep saying yes and giving what they can, and I am so grateful.

There is one moment I will carry with me for the rest of my life, watching my daughter lead us in worship. Arya, you were incredible. Watching you share your voice and your love for Jesus is a memory frozen in time in my heart. I am so proud to be your mama. ❤️

And to everyone who came and spent the evening with us, you brought such warmth. Thank you for worshiping with us, welcoming one another, and making the park feel like a place where people belonged. And to those of you who donated, that was so kind and so appreciated! I forgot to even ask or mention it and you still found a way to help so thank you!!

Last and most importantly THANK YOU JESUS, for this beautiful evening and for every person who was part of it.

I’ll see you all in 2027.

One of the things we care deeply about at Light The Way is making sure the next generation knows that worship belongs to them too. At ARISE, Arya Meisberger will be joining us as a special guest vocalist, representing the kids and singing “My Lighthouse” by Shout Praise Kids.

She’ll be accompanied on guitar by her music teacher, Seth Leon from Kids in the Attic, who has encouraged her, taught her, and helped her grow in confidence as a young musician. Kids in the Attic will also be joining us with a booth at the event, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

There’s something really beautiful about watching a child step forward and use her voice to worship Jesus. It’s a reminder that the Church isn’t just preparing kids to worship “someday.” They are part of the Body right now. And yes, as her mom, I’m probably going to be an emotional wreck.

Come cheer her on, worship with her, and help us show our kids that there is room for their voices, their gifts, and their faith too.

Well, friends…sometimes life has other plans. And apparently today is one of those days. 🤦‍♀️

We won't be putting out a new episode of The Lyric & The Light.
Something came up behind the scenes, and we just need to hit pause for a beat.

No big explanation. Just one of those moments when you have to give yourself a little grace.

We appreciate y'all hanging in there with us. We'll be back in the back row pew as soon as we're able.

In the meantime, keep the coffee hot, the prayers coming, and the sass to a reasonable level. Or don't. We aren't judging. 😂

We are officially in the final countdown to ARISE. ❤️

For the last four years, Light The Way has been about creating space for people to come together, lay down the labels, leave the church walls for a little while, and simply experience Jesus in community.

That is still the heart of this.

This isn’t about putting on a perfect event. It’s about making room. Room to worship. Room to laugh. Room to meet people you may never have crossed paths with otherwise. Room for families, churches, neighbors, kids, skeptics, believers, and anybody who just needs a place to show up and see what happens when the Body of Christ comes together with open hands.

So this week, don’t just make plans to come.

Bring somebody with you.

Invite the person who hasn’t been to church in years. Invite the coworker who’s been asking questions. Invite your whole small group. Invite your neighbor. Invite the friend who needs a night outside, surrounded by music, people, and hope.

We’ve been preparing for this for months.

Now it’s almost time.

Sons and daughters, step forward. Every generation, stand together. It’s time to ARISE. 🙌❤️
