Receiving Happiness Through God’s Love

There is a joy—an unshakable, unbreakable, undeniable joy—that flows from the heart of God straight into the depths of our souls. It is not a joy that the world gives, nor is it a happiness that can be measured by temporary circumstances. No, this joy is eternal, this happiness is divine, and it is found in the boundless, relentless, overwhelming love of God!

The psalmist declared, “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence, there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11, ESV). Did you hear that? Not partial joy. Not a fleeting moment of happiness. But fullness of joy! A complete, overflowing, all-consuming happiness that only comes from dwelling in the presence of the Most High.

Happiness Begins With Receiving

Too many people spend their lives chasing happiness, thinking they can find it in success, relationships, or material things. But true happiness is not something you earn—it is something you receive. It is a gift, freely given by the Father, poured out through His perfect love.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1, NIV).

God doesn’t ration His love. He doesn’t measure it out in teaspoons. He LAVISHES it! He overflows your life with it! When you stop striving and start receiving, that is when true happiness begins to take root.

The Love That Heals the Broken Heart

Some of you have been looking for happiness in all the wrong places. You’ve been searching for it in relationships that left you empty, in achievements that never satisfied, in pleasures that faded like mist in the morning sun. But let me tell you something: The love of God is the only thing that can truly heal the broken places in your heart.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18, NIV).

God is not a distant observer in your pain—He is a present healer. He sees your tears. He knows your wounds. And His love is the salve that restores what was lost. When you embrace His love, you receive a joy that no sorrow can erase.

Abiding in Love, Walking in Joy

If you want to walk in happiness, you must first abide in His love. Jesus said, “As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Now remain in My love… I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete” (John 15:9,11, NIV).

His joy is our joy! His love is our strength! When you stay connected to Him, when you surrender to His embrace, when you make His presence your dwelling place, happiness ceases to be an occasional visitor and becomes a permanent resident in your soul.

So today, stop striving. Stop searching. Open your heart and RECEIVE. Because the greatest happiness you will ever know is found in the limitless, unfailing, all-encompassing love of God.

Guarding Your Ear and Eye Gates: A Biblical Mandate for Spiritual Protection

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." – Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)

Our eyes and ears are powerful gateways to our hearts and minds. What we see and hear shapes our thoughts, influences our emotions, and ultimately determines our actions. As believers, we must be intentional about what we allow to enter these spiritual gates. The Bible provides clear principles for protecting ourselves from harmful influences while filling our hearts with righteousness.

The Eye Gate: Seeing Through the Lens of Holiness

Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:22-23, "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness." What we watch, read, and gaze upon has a direct impact on our spiritual well-being.

Practical Ways to Guard Your Eyes:

Be Selective with Media Consumption: Avoid entertainment filled with violence, immorality, or ungodly values (Psalm 101:3 – "I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless").

Focus on Godly Content: Read Scripture, Christian books, and watch uplifting content that strengthens your faith.

Turn Away from Temptation: If something leads you to sin, remove it from your view (Job 31:1 – "I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman").

The Ear Gate: Tuning into God's Voice

Romans 10:17 reminds us, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Just as faith grows through godly input, negativity, gossip, and ungodly messages can corrupt our spirits.

Practical Ways to Guard Your Ears:

Be Mindful of Conversations: Avoid gossip, slander, and negative speech (Ephesians 4:29 – "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up").

Listen to Uplifting Messages: Fill your ears with sermons, worship music, and encouraging discussions.

Reject Lies and Deception: The enemy often speaks through the world’s narratives; counteract them with God’s truth (John 8:44 – "[The devil] is a liar and the father of lies").

Living with a Guarded Heart

The goal of guarding our gates is not legalism but spiritual protection. Philippians 4:8 instructs us to focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. When we do this, we create an environment where God’s presence thrives in our lives.

Final Call to Action: Today, make a commitment to filter what enters your eyes and ears. Choose righteousness over entertainment, truth over deception, and holiness over compromise. As you do, you will experience greater peace, spiritual clarity, and a deeper connection with God.

What steps will you take today to guard your ear and eye gates? Leave a comment below and share your thoughts!

Living in the Abundance of God’s Grace: The Power of a Kingdom Lifestyle

The Kingdom of God is not a distant dream or a vague theological concept—it is a present reality, an invitation to live under divine rule, where grace abounds and life flourishes. Jesus declared, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33). This is not merely a suggestion; it is a divine key that unlocks a life of supernatural provision, peace, and purpose.

To embrace a Kingdom lifestyle is to step out of the chaos of worldly striving and into the rhythm of God’s abundant grace. It is to understand that we are no longer subjects of the world’s economy of scarcity and fear, but heirs of a divine inheritance that never runs dry.

(From here, we can explore themes like identity in Christ, divine provision, peace that surpasses understanding, and the transformative power of grace.)

There is a name that echoes through eternity, a name that shakes the very foundations of the earth. A name so mighty that when it is spoken, chains shatter, strongholds crumble, and darkness flees. That name is Jesus! The name that causes demons to tremble, the name that brings the dead back to life, the name that has authority in heaven, on earth, and beneath the earth.

Why is the name of Jesus so powerful? What is it about this name that moves mountains and calms raging seas? This is no ordinary name. This is the name above all names, the name that carries the full weight of God’s presence, power, and promise.

The power of His name is not in the mere pronunciation of it, but in the One who bears it. His name is backed by His identity, His sacrifice, His resurrection, and His eternal reign. When we call on the name of Jesus, we are invoking the very essence of God’s authority and love.

There is healing in the name of Jesus. Blind eyes have opened, the lame have walked, and diseases have bowed at the sound of His name. The woman with the issue of blood didn’t just reach for a garment—she reached for the power behind the name. When Peter and John stood before the lame man at the gate called Beautiful, they did not offer gold or silver, but they declared, 'In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!' And he walked!

There is deliverance in the name of Jesus. When the apostles cast out demons, they did not rely on their own strength. They spoke with authority, declaring the name that all of hell recognizes and obeys. The book of Acts recounts how Paul, being greatly disturbed by a spirit of divination in a young girl, turned and commanded the spirit to come out in the name of Jesus—and instantly, she was set free!

There is salvation in the name of Jesus. Scripture declares that 'there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12). His name is the gateway to eternity, the key that unlocks the door to the Father, the banner under which every believer stands.

This is why the enemy fights so hard against the name of Jesus. Because he knows that in this name, there is victory. The forces of darkness tremble because they remember how Jesus disarmed them, triumphing over them on the cross. They remember how He descended into the depths and took the keys of death, hell, and the grave. They remember that at the mention of His name, every knee must bow, and every tongue must confess that He is Lord!

So, my question to you is this: Do you know the power in the name of Jesus? Are you walking in the authority that His name provides? Are you speaking His name over your circumstances, your struggles, and your battles? Because when you do, heaven responds, and hell recoils.

Jesus is not just a name—it is the power, the presence, and the person of God Himself. And when you call upon that name, expect miracles, expect deliverance, expect transformation! For there is no other name like the name of Jesus!

Daddy You Made Us Too

In a world where love is as diverse as the human spirit itself, it's high time we challenge the narrow interpretations that confine us. “Daddy You Made Us Too” is not just a title—it’s a declaration of identity, a call for inclusion, and a reminder that divine creation encompasses every form of love, every path to authenticity.

Challenging the Narrow Lens of Judgment

Many religious doctrines have long been used as tools to exclude and marginalize those who deviate from traditional norms. When we hear arguments against homosexuality and lesbianism, it is often under the guise of preserving ancient religious laws. Yet, a closer look reveals a broader, more compassionate narrative—a narrative that asserts, "Daddy, you made us too." God’s love, as described in scripture, is not limited to a select few but is extended to all of creation.

The Bible: A Testament to Unconditional Love

John 3:16 – Love Without Limits

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…”
This verse reminds us that God's love is universal. The use of the word “world” emphasizes that every person, regardless of sexual orientation, is embraced in divine love. If God’s love is truly without boundaries, then every loving relationship, whether heterosexual or homosexual, reflects a facet of that boundless grace.

Galatians 3:28 – Unity in Christ

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
This powerful assertion of equality breaks down human-made barriers. While the scripture does not explicitly discuss sexual orientation, its message is clear: in the eyes of God, all distinctions fade away. Every individual, every relationship, is a part of the divine tapestry—no one is left out.

1 John 4:7-8 – The Essence of Divine Love

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God…”
If love is the very nature of God, then any relationship built on genuine care, respect, and commitment mirrors that sacred love. Rejecting a relationship solely because of who is involved undermines the core principle that all love is divine.

Reinterpreting Challenging Passages

Critics often point to passages like Leviticus 18:22 or Romans 1:26-27 as definitive condemnations of homosexuality. However, many modern theologians argue that these texts must be understood within their historical and cultural contexts. The Bible’s journey—from strict legal codes to a narrative of grace and mercy in the New Testament—invites us to reinterpret these passages in light of the overarching message of love.

By acknowledging the historical context, we see that these scriptures were written during times when societal norms were very different. The evolution from the Old Testament to the New Testament is a testament to a growing understanding of compassion, inclusion, and love. As believers continue to engage with their faith, there is a profound opportunity to honor the spirit of God by embracing every facet of His creation.

A Call for Inclusion and Empathy

When we proclaim “Daddy, you made us too,” we are asserting that every person—regardless of who they love—is a cherished part of God’s plan. This statement is a call to move beyond outdated interpretations that breed judgment and exclusion. It’s a reminder that every relationship grounded in genuine love deserves respect, and every person deserves the freedom to live authentically.

True spiritual growth comes from questioning and reinterpreting the narratives that have long been taken for granted. As we reexamine our scriptures and beliefs, we must ask ourselves: are we upholding a faith of exclusion, or are we embracing the radical, transformative power of love that God intends for us all?

Conclusion

“Daddy You Made Us Too” is both an assertion of identity and a plea for empathy. It challenges us to rethink the ways we interpret religious teachings and to recognize that the divine is not confined by human prejudice. Let this be a moment of reflection—a time to celebrate the beautiful diversity of human love, and a reminder that every person, in all their uniqueness, is a testament to the boundless love of God.

By embracing a more inclusive interpretation of our sacred texts, we can move toward a society where love, in all its forms, is celebrated and cherished. After all, if God made us, then His love surely covers all of us.
