Topic: Kingdom Service Part 2
Text: John 12: 26
Introduction:
Service is the sure way to greatness , rewards and lifting.
* The more you excel in service, the greater you become and of greater ur rewards.
# To excel in service u need to understand certain Key Elements Associated in it:
1. HUMILITY
* To serve effectively in a way it pleases God and man, u must humble yourself.
* Pride , Ego and Self-centeredness are serious hindrances to service.
* Jesus always taught and practiced humility in His service to humanity - phlip. 2:5-8
* Jesus changed from the form of God to the form of servant. Phil. 5:7
* Humility is an attitude we should develop in Christian service, even when our efforts are not recognized. Luke 22:25-27
*A true servant ought to be in subjection to higher powers, it takes humility. Col. 3:22
(2) FAITHFULNESS - 1 cor. 4:2
*Faithfulness is a principal element in service. It has to do with commitment, dedication and consistency to a course.
* God and men commit valuables to faithful servants. 2 Tim. 2:2
* Christ and Moses were described as faithful over the house of God. Heb. 3:1-5
* Christ is a perfect human leader, he is a model worth of imitating.
* Faithfulness requires leaving a thing in a condition better than u met it. Matt.25:14-27
* 5 Things To NOTE:
1. He that is of a faithful spirit concealth a matter - prov.11:13
2. A faithful ambassador is healthy . prov. 13:17
3. A faithful witness doesn't lie. Prov.14:5
4. A faithful messenger refers to soul of his master. Prov.25:13
5. A faithful man who can find - prov. 20: 6
CONCLUSION:
Daniel was faithful, no fault could be found in him. (Dan.6:4).
* How are we doing the service of God?
*Are we faithful in the place of work? Matt.24:45- 47

#5 Mediocrity is the result of performing or producing less than your capacity Heb 5:12-14

#6 opportunity moves around looking for capacity

#7 When capacity meets with opportunity what you get is Success.
