First Methodist Church of Pleasanton, TX was founded in 1857. We are a loving, family-oriented congregation. Our Pastor teaches Bible based messages.

Mission Statement of First Methodist Church: The mission of the First Methodist Church of Pleasanton is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ as we welcome and witness to all. Our goal is to have worship, Christian studies, ministry and fellowship for all ages. Our members are active participants in working to better our community. We are passionate in our worship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our children and youth programs are designed to teach Christian stories, music and crafts; in addition to, providing fellowship, food and fun. Our Children's Christmas Program is happening Sunday, December14th, and you won't want to miss it! They are ready to bring the joy of Christmas to life in the sweetest way!

Worship will be led by Kent Booth and Katie David, and after service everyone is invited to stay for a warm and friendly potluck luncheon. It's going to be a beautiful Sunday!

Pastor Jeremy Garza will be leading our worship service and bringing the morning message, and Kent & Laura-Lee Booth will be guiding us in worship through music.

This weekend at FMC! Our 40 Hours of Prayer of Thanksgiving Vigil runs from Friday night to Sunday morning. The sanctuary will remain open the entire time for anyone who would like to come pray, reflect, or simply sit with the Lord. We have also have security on duty during the late night and early morning hours for everyone's safety and comfort.

Our worship service is usually “traditional”; however, our praise band periodically turns our traditional service into a praise service. Our Pastor teaches Bible-based messages. Our children and youth programs are designed to teach Christian stories, music and crafts; in addition to providing fellowship, food and fun.
