This scent was created with intention for my Cherokee ancestors and for all native indigenous people of the world who followed a thirteen moon calendar. After all, there are thirteen moon cycles in a year. The one month severed by colonization and hopes to erase a bond in culture, and spirit will never disembody the connection between the people to the Sun, moon and stars. Which are in themselves a giant clock.

Smokey, woody. Incense, pungent, vulgar, provocative. This scent is amazing alone and amazing layered with something else you indulge. I created this fragrance for my love and obsession with the smells of incense in temples, cathedrals and all of the ancient places of worship I’ve visited all over the world. Something feels ancestral about it to me since I was very young. Smoke is a ritualistic and spiritual energy unlike anything else. In many religious practices, burning incense is believed to deepen our attention and empower our spiritual focus. The aroma of incense can help you tap in your spiritual connections. It calms the environment and your mind, cleansing the space for inner and outer journeys. For me it can take me into memories of past journeys from many of my adventures to Thailand, Italy, Mexico, Scotland and parts of the states. It makes me feel a connection to my ancestors both native and abroad.

Pronounced: Voo-Duh-Shjay (reverse Déjà Vu) ✶I’m often asked about the reason why I named my fragrance Vu Déjà. The symbolism behind the name and the logo is very personal. I don’t believe it’s only personal to me but to anyone and everyone who encounters it. Fragrance is an experience. A memory. A memoir. It’s a love letter to a moment in time. It’s a spiritual, cultural and energy cord tie to our very existence •
•We’ve all experienced déjà vu, being in an unfamiliar situation and feeling like we’ve been there before. But “vu déjà” is looking at a familiar situation as if you’ve been through it before and experiencing it all over again with fresh perspective. This is exactly what fragrance is like to me. Choosing to experience something again and again with a new perspective and tagging it by scent. The third eye 𓁿 symbolizes the connection we all have to experience the present moment in a realm of spiritual connection to everything - all is one.•
• I feel very strongly that scents should represent feelings and moods not gender labels or barriers. Everyone should feel they can represent their own signature scent style anytime they want however they desire with no labels.
