Youth Fellowship Recap

Yesterday wasn't just another fellowship it was a reminder that the world needs more people who reflect God's heart through kindness. đź’›

Our topic, “Increasing in Kindness: A Biblical Call to Reflect God's Heart," reminded us that kindness isn't weakness it's a choice to love, forgive, encourage, and show Jesus in the way we treat others.

Big thanks to Ms. Carmen Joy Cabasag for allowing God to use you to speak life into us. 🙌

Let's not leave the message in the church. Let's live it every day at school, at work, online, and everywhere we go. One act of kindness can point someone to Christ. 🌿

Rooted in Christ, growing the Fruit of the Spirit ✨

Yesterday afternoon’s Youth Fellowship was a meaningful time of worship, learning, and fellowship as we were reminded to let God shape our hearts with love, joy, peace,
kindness, faithfulness, and self-control.

"It's not about how big the blessing is, it is about how big your heart is to recognize and be thankful for that blessing."

Truth is madaling marecognize yung blessing kapag extraordinary, kapag it impacts us so much.
Kapag simple lang we tend to overlook it and just go in with our day ordinarily not being able to be thankful for it.
But alam mo ba, sometimes, in the quietest and serene moments dun mas lalong nagi-speak si Lord, dun mas lalong nai-emphasize yung goodness Niya sa buhay natin?
Sa mga moments na akala mo walang nangyayari, walang progress, all you need to do is to pause, and reflect on how much God has carried you through from who you are before and who you are now.

Sometimes, it takes only a minute to realize that your life now doesn't need grand things for you to admit that you are blessed beyond what you are expecting.
So there, I hope you get to see how blessed You are and don't forget to thank God for what you have now.
Believe me, with a simple "Thank you Lord", may magbabago sa'yo.

"Lord, if something I've been wanting and praying will take me away from you, huwag mo na lang pong ibigay."

These words maybe the most courageous words that we can utter in our prayers.
Madaling sabihin na "Lord, let your will be done," but reality is it's hard to accept and stand to it.
We are praying because we want God to know what our heart's desires.
But more often than not, there are those desires na once granted, pushes us to enjoy them so much that we forget why God has given that to us in the first place.
We cannot handle the blessings and answered prayers properly.
Na para bang mas natatangay tayo ng blessings kaysa sa nagblessed sa atin.

Stewardship must be something that our heart longs.
We must learn how to handle what God has given to us in such a way na mas lalo siyang mago-glorify sa buhay natin.
Kung may unang una man tayong ipapanalangin yun dapat ay...
"Lord, kapag binigay mo na,
kapag nasa akin na yung prayers ko,
ikaw pa rin dapat yung unang maisip ko,
ikaw na nagbigay at nagpala sa akin."

May our intensity of serving God doesn't depend on how much we received from Him.
More than the blessings, more than the answered prayers, may loving God be our ultimate desire.

Be with Him, choose Him always

This February, let our hearts grow deeper in love not just in words, but in action. As we celebrate Hearts Day, may we learn to love like Christ: patient, kind, forgiving, and true. Let’s increase in love for God, for our family, for friends, and even for those who hurt us. True love begins with Him and flows through us.

“And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.” 1 Thessalonians 3:12
