"Lord, if something I've been wanting and praying will take me away from you, huwag mo na lang pong ibigay."
These words maybe the most courageous words that we can utter in our prayers.
Madaling sabihin na "Lord, let your will be done," but reality is it's hard to accept and stand to it.
We are praying because we want God to know what our heart's desires.
But more often than not, there are those desires na once granted, pushes us to enjoy them so much that we forget why God has given that to us in the first place.
We cannot handle the blessings and answered prayers properly.
Na para bang mas natatangay tayo ng blessings kaysa sa nagblessed sa atin.
Stewardship must be something that our heart longs.
We must learn how to handle what God has given to us in such a way na mas lalo siyang mago-glorify sa buhay natin.
Kung may unang una man tayong ipapanalangin yun dapat ay...
"Lord, kapag binigay mo na,
kapag nasa akin na yung prayers ko,
ikaw pa rin dapat yung unang maisip ko,
ikaw na nagbigay at nagpala sa akin."
May our intensity of serving God doesn't depend on how much we received from Him.
More than the blessings, more than the answered prayers, may loving God be our ultimate desire.
Be with Him, choose Him always
