Saint Stanislaus Kostka Meatball Festival Postponed

We regret to inform you that the Meatball Festival scheduled for tomorrow, May 4th, has been postponed. Due to the storms earlier this week which brought down trees and power lines, there is no power on the Most Holy Name of Jesus campus. It likely will not be restored until next week. We will communicate the new date for the Meatball Festival once it is established. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please continue to pray for all those who remain effected by the storms.

Join us on February 2nd at Saint Anthony Chapel (Troy Hill) for Evening Prayer by candlelight celebrating the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. Also called Candlemas, this solemn day marks 40 days since Christmas and Jesus being presented in the temple by Mary and Joseph in fulfillment of the Jewish custom. At that time, they were approached by the prophet Simeon who revealed Christ as the light to the nations. As a result, on this day the candles used in the church are traditionally blessed. In addition, in anticipation of the Feast of Saint Blase (February 3rd), we will venerate his relic and offer the blessing of throats to those in attendance.
