Bishop Beninate would frequently tell us that God would wake him up at 4:00AM to meet with him. During these sweet times with the Lord, Bishop would receive so much and was excited to share with us what the Lord had given him. He loved his 4AM “Meetings with the Lord.”
On August 10th at 4AM, the Lord came for his meeting with Bishop Beninate and lovingly escorted him into Glory.
While our church family feels the great loss of our Spiritual Father, we rejoice that he is where he has always dreamed of being…in Glory with his Savior. Please keep his family and church in your prayers.

UPDATE:
Bishop Beninate is still in Presbyterian Hospital and is so thankful for all of your prayers and messages. The doctors are doing an amazing job strengthening his heart while still trying to determine what is causing his lung infection. It is a continual balance between the function of his heart giving him the strength to fight the infection / the infection putting a strain on his heart making it difficult to fight the infection. He has gone through a battery of 4 antibiotics, but the pneumonia hasn’t responded as it should have. All the tests to determine the cause of the pneumonia (to navigate the protocol for fighting it) have come back negative. This means, it isn’t caused by the “normal” bacteria or viruses associated with it. So, they are thinking outside the box and testing for fungal pneumonias and every other lung condition possible. Their knowledge and understanding is that until they can accurately identify the infection and effectively treat it, it will continue to stress his heart. Our knowledge and understanding is that GOD CAN DO ANYTHING and is not bound by man’s understanding. Meanwhile, Bishop is continuing his ministry as God’s appointed chaplain to the Cardiac Ward. As much as I’d like to report that the Bishop is in good hands with the nurses and doctors, an even truer report is that the nurses and doctors are in good hands with the Bishop. Please continue to pray for Bishop Beninate, the staff of Presbyterian Hospital and his family.

On Saturday, Bishop Beninate was admitted to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with pneumonia. While the initial focus was treating the pneumonia, it became clear that the situation was causing a great deal of stress on his heart. Since then, the doctors have continued to treat the pneumonia while aggressively switching their focus to trying to strengthen his heart function. Living in the awareness that we are always on Divine Assignment, Bishop has been praying with and ministering to every nurse and doctor God sends to him. Please join us in praying for Bishop Beninate. We are believing God for a miraculous and total healing to renew his heart. 🙏🏻
