Repent = Metanoia ~ Meta (change) - [of the] - Noia (Mind)

A man who believes - has repented. He has changed his mind and now believes on Jesus - when he didn't before. We all must change or alter our mind to see this.

A man who repents (in a biblical context concerning salvation) is a man who comes to a rational realization that he needs to believe in something or someone. That being- believing in Christ and the Gospel in general.

However, the Bible also does certainly speak of repenting of sin and mindsets, etc.. A Christian will likely repent of many things in their life. You repented of smoking ci******es etc.. Even God repented in scripture - it says it plainly! God changed his mind.

Why do some people get mad when Christ is referred to as a king? It happens over 70 times in scripture. "King of the Nations -King of Israel- King of the Jews- King of kings"

The bible aligns perfectly with history.

The "great dearth" (old english for famine) mentioned in (Acts 11:28-30) was a severe, widespread food shortage that occurred throughout the Roman world during Emperor Claudius Caesars reign.

The prophet Agabus, told by the Holy Spirit, predicted this famine, which happened during the reign of Claudius (A.D. 41–54).Historical Evidence shows Roman historians Suetonius and Tacitus, along with the Jewish historian Josephus, document frequent famines and shortages during this period.
