Preparing for the Bridegroom Until He Comes

Preparing for the Bridegroom Until He Comes Becoming Virtuous / Righteous People of God...One Day at a Time The Word of God teaches us how to please and glorify Him daily.

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Tim 4:8
As Virtuous (women /men)People of God, we are equipped and gifted to prepare for the coming of Christ Jesus in our everyday lives in the application of the word of God through the demonstration of

our actions and the submission of our gifts along with our selves. Let us learn and apply it together so that when the Bridegroom arrives, we will be ready with our lamps trimmed and full of oil so that we can join Him and enter our rest with Him.

I am not a fan of chain messages and I don’t usually send them, but this morning I got one that felt special. It connected to a conversation that I was recently having with God. In this season, while life / circumstances are testing and trying all of us in different ways, God knows my heart and love for you. That being what it is, I’m sharing this message with everyone that I can. Why? Because I SINCERELY want to see EVERYONE In 2026. Despite what individuals may or may not believe, I know that Jesus said “If you believe, all things are possible to those who believe.” Mark 9:23

That being said, this is no longer a chain message, but just me exercising my faith. Read it or don’t read it, I still love you and care for you.

God has seen you suffer for something and says that it is enough, a blessing will come to you. If you believe in God, send this message, please do not ignore it, you have been put to the test. God is going to fix 2 things tonight in your favor. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life.

Happy, whole, safe, smiling, provided for, and knowing that you are truly loved by someone special while you are truly loving someone that is special to you.

May this time of rejection, anguish, stress, lack, loneliness, etc be done and let a true time of gratefulness, thanksgiving, and forgiveness begin.

May we finally and honestly be able to nakedly confess and ask for forgiveness, so that we can learn from our experiences and truly be done with our wrongful / shameful ways.

Then we can bask in the love and light of God forever, without fear of separation or darkness in Jesus’ name. Amen 🙏🏾

A friend of mine asked this question today and after I responded, I decided to share this message and extend this same invitation for anyone in Pittsburgh that would be interested.

The question was, why do I go to church (or rather why should we go to church, but I answered for myself / from my perspective). Here’s my answer:

Truth is there are lots of reasons to go, but the one that really matters most is yours. What we do, how we do it, and why all makes a difference.

When I was a little girl, I went to church every Sunday because my mommy told me I was supposed to go. It was a standard set by my parents and therefore a requirement.

As a pr***en, there were lots of things going on in my life and I was surrounded by a lot of negativity and violence. So, at 11, I started going to church because it was a safe place and I felt protected and at peace when I went (so I made it a point to be there EVERY time the doors were open and I could go).

As a young adult, I loved being around friends and family and felt like I was accepted and belonged, so I made it a point to go to church and be connected as well as to make sure that I could help others feel the way people made me feel.

Now, as an adult, I go to church for ALL of those reasons combined. I am still learning EVERY DAY that I can be a good example, if I want to be, or I can be a bad one. If someone can see and experience even a hint of godliness through me, then I can smile at God knowing that God is smiling at me. I love God and I always will, especially because God loved me first. God didn’t wait for me to “feel like it” and get “everything right” to receive me and embrace me. Even while I was still wrong, I could lay my head in my father’s lap and God would stroke my hair. That’s what I think about and envision when I spend time with God, and I make it a point to stay in God’s lap as much as possible.

If you’re in Pittsburgh, I’d invite you to come to service with me one Sunday and then we could go get something to eat and talk. Until we find ourselves in the same city (if we aren’t already), you can always feel free to reach out to me.

God reminded me that He told me to make my calling and election sure. I already did that in Florida, but more recently I have in Pittsburgh. Now I’m officially using my Instagram…shout outs to my family and friends who told me to do that and encouraged me to set one up (even though I wasn’t really using it before today). Needless to say, if you’re on it and you want to stay connected, I’m sharing my profile. If you’re already following me, you should just see the updates.

Many people talk about sins and try to weigh them out / prioritize them. The Bible says that we should speak the truth in love, and because I love you, I will always tell you the truth. The Bible also says that the truth will set you free, and whom the Lord sets free is free indeed.

If you were trying to make a list, the first sin is putting anything, including yourself, in front of God. Since we were created to be God’s reflection, anything else before God is blocking the mirror and disobedience. All disobedience is sin and there are WAY TOO many possibilities to count them all to number. Fortunately for us,

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish, but have eternal life. We understand, in every other context, that we need to “put our money where our mouth is” and that the “proof is in the pudding.” So, why is accepting the gift of salvation different?

We need to believe in our heart that “our way wasn’t working” and Jesus died to give us a chance to do / be different.

1) He died for us, so we could live for Him.
2) He died for what we did, do, and will do.
3) That’s not a get out of jail free card. It’s an exchange that requires your investment of what didn’t work for what will. That’s why you need Jesus to lead you FOREVER…not just one and done.

NEWSFLASH if you could have done it yourself, you wouldn’t have needed to ask for Him to save you. He left the Holy Spirit behind to help you, so receive and follow Holy Spirit FOREVER. If you’re going to keep doing the same thing over and over, why ask to be set free?

God knows the difference between what we do on purpose, cause that’s what’s in our hearts to do, versus what we can’t get free from and we’re not able to stop doing it. All we need to do is face it, and confess it to God. God will fill in the gaps for you, if you let Him, because He cares about you and the things that concern you. He wants you to know that He protects you, provides for you, helps you, strengthens you, prepares for your benefit…for all the sins we can’t count, there’s even more promises for His glory and our good. We just need to decide, FOR OURSELVES, that He’s worth it, like He already decided for us, that we’re worth it to Him.

God promises that if you ask, you will receive. He also promised that His word will NEVER come back void. You just need to decide, honestly / sincerely, to ask. Don’t say what you think everyone wants you to say, what you think is the popular thing to say, not what’s expected to say, mean it and ask it because you want the best possible way that is GUARANTEED to work.

Say it / Read it (but mean it):

Jesus, I believe you lived a perfect life to pay for my sins , cause I could NEVER do it for myself. My way doesn’t work and I’m tired of failing and falling short ON PURPOSE. Please come into my heart and my life. Hold my hand and show me how to do it YOUR WAY instead of mine. Holy Spirit, fill me and keep me filled, so that my gaps over flow and God can see His reflection more clearly all the days of my life. I’m grateful that you LOVE me first. Please teach me how to do this for others, in EVERY way that pleases you. You decided, that I am worth it to you, and I’m deciding RIGHT NOW, God, that you’re worth it to me too, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Bible is an acronym that stands for

Basic
Instructions
Before
Life
Eternal.

You will need it to start your relationship, but YOU NEED TO also spend time talking with God, and LISTENING to God (not just hearing Him) to grow it. Have conversations and ask questions, express your feelings, and let GOD answer you. Think about the people that you do have relationships with. Do they all talk to you the same way and answer you the same way? No. So, why would you expect the author and finisher of all things, to speak to you and answer you, the exact same way, every single time and exactly like everyone else, when He thinks about you, specifically, “as many times as there are grains of sand?” Are they all the same? Every grain? No. So, if He thinks about you SO MUCH, and in that much detail, why can’t YOU spend some time asking God and finding out why for YOURSELF? Love you, Just sayin…

Sitting here waiting for a job interview. Hallelujah!!!

I thought I would share the Scripture of the Day with a Song while I’m waiting:

““But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.”
