Politicians talk about the currents of history moving toward certain goals. Well, they are right about the currents of history, but not about the goals. God is working in the world “to bring many sons to glory”—that is the direction in which history moves. When we give our lives to the great purpose of witnessing and evangelism, we will find that our lives are blessed with a deep satisfaction, and we will shine as the stars forever and ever (Dan 12:3).
