Faith Lutheran Church of Pierce, Idaho

Faith Lutheran Church of Pierce, Idaho Faith Lutheran Church of Pierce has been a part of Clearwater county since 1961 where the first families gathered for Bible study in local homes. Who is LCMC?

Dedication of the church was held on October 29, 1967, where worshippers still gather today. We are an association of congregations who are free in Christ, accountable to one another and rooted in the scriptures and the Lutheran confessions. We're all working together to fulfill Christ's great commission to go and make disciples of all nations. Faith Lutheran Church of Pierce Idaho is a member of

Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ, and our name pretty much says it all. We’re not a denomination, we’re a movement. We view the local church as the place where people in the community come to get connected with God and one another. We celebrate the fact that everyone is wired a little differently; it allows each and every one of us to serve according to our own unique strengths, skills and talents. From Pr. David Breidenbach, Executive Director, Spiritual Orphans Network (he will be speaking at our NW District Annual Gathering May 12-14 in Great Falls, Peace Lutheran Church): HUGE Ukraine Prayer Request. Our long time SON Ukrainian partners in ministry with DELKU (German Evangelical Lutheran Church), Pr. Aleksandr & Illona Gross and family, have had to make the gut-wrenching decision to send their daughters, Anna-Mariia and Marta away to safety. Pr. Aleksandr cannot leave because he is under 60 and is obligated to be available for conscription in order to help defend Ukraine. They are leaving immediately from the Odesa region (near the Black Sea). The girls are 19 and 17 years old and they are very scared. Additionally, other associates in ministry are having to immediately send their wives and children across safe boarders for the same reason. Lord, have mercy. We will keep you updated in future posts. for how you might be able to help.
