This is not about attacking a student. It is about NVCA’s inconsistent application of its claimed values and standards.
A current senior and varsity athlete publicly shared this post while remaining enrolled and participating in school activities. Meanwhile, NVCA described our family as “unaligned” and removed our daughter, despite her strong academics, positive record, and commitment to the school.
Students should not be targeted or publicly shamed. But families are entitled to ask why certain public statements and conduct are accepted while another family is removed under a vague claim of “misalignment.”
If NVCA has behavioral, religious, or social-media standards, those standards should be written clearly and applied consistently—not selectively, privately, or only when administrators have a conflict with a particular family.
The issue is not this student. The issue is the apparent double standard
