The Bible demonstrates in God's will for His Church and the purpose of the power of the Holy Spirit. Mandates and instructions are seen in Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, and Acts 2 and throughout the New Testament. After receiving the power of the Holy Spirit to be witnesses, the disciples preached and taught others to obey everything the Lord Jesus had commanded. They cared for the widow
s and orphans. Believers had everything in common so that no one lacked. People were healed, delivered and set free from demonic possession. Justice issues were taught and mandated (i.e., Philemon). They did not limit themselves or their teaching to spiritual things alone. In so doing, the disciples turned the world upside down. Our passion is to rekindle the fire of the Church to live out Jesus' instructions as was done in the early church. We are to reconcile all things to Christ. We believe this is still the mandate of the church. Therefore, the purpose of the conference is to rekindle the fire of the Holy Spirit within the body of Christ for the church to carry out her original purpose as witnesses to all--not just in word but in deed and in every area of life. It is our prayer that this vision will be the spark that reignites the fire in the church that seems to have died down into barely glowing embers in the world today.
