Dear God, thank You for this day. Thank You for being the only one who’s always patient with me. I know I haven’t always gotten it right, but You’ve never walked away from me. Every day, You keep working in my life even when I don’t see how things are going to work out. Your word in John 5:17 says, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” That gives me hope. Help me to always remember this and to trust You when I feel anxious. Overthinking steals my peace and drains my joy, so I pray for supernatural peace over my mind. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” And that lets me know that I may not have all the answers, but I do have You… and that’s enough. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; Your steadfast love endures forever. -Psalm 138:8

The Bible has the power to change lives.
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12

This Book convicts hearts, renews minds, breaks chains, and reveals the character of a holy, loving, and just God.

It brings transformation.
It shows you who God is.
It confronts sin, reveals grace, and leads us to the feet of Jesus.

Through Scripture, we learn the truth about ourselves and the greater truth about our Savior.

It turns the rebellious into the redeemed.
The lost into the found.
The broken into the restored.
The proud into the surrendered.
And the pages point us to Jesus.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:14

The Bible is God speaking to us.
That’s why the enemy will do anything to distract you from reading it.

Because when you’re rooted in the Word, you won’t be shaken by the world.

Dear God, thank You so much for this day. Thank You for all of the blessings that I sometimes take for granted. Thank You for every good and perfect gift that comes from You. Your word in Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” Help me believe that with all of my heart, knowing that You will position me to win and walk in victory through every situation. With You, all things are possible. You are the God who sustains me and gives me all that I need. When things seem out of control, I will lift my eyes to the hills from where my help comes. You are my redeemer, my helper, and my friend. You are God alone, and no one can stop what You’re doing in my life. I give this day to You. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer:
Lord, I surrender my need to understand everything. Help me to trust You when I can’t see the way. Increase my faith to believe that You are working for my good, even when it doesn’t make sense. I rest in Your wisdom and timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Lay It Down Again

Some burdens weren’t meant to be carried forever. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” Maybe you laid it down once and picked it back up again. That’s okay. You can lay it down again today. There’s no limit to how many times you can come to Him—He’s not counting. He’s welcoming.

Dear God, thank You for waking me up today. You are an awesome God, and no one compares to You. I truly appreciate how You carried me through last week—even through the hard parts. You’ve been so good to me, and I don’t want to overlook that. As this new week begins, I’m asking You to lead the way. There are so many places I could go and so many things I could do, but I don’t want to move unless You’re in it. Help me to follow You and become more like You in every way. If I’ve messed up, I’m sorry. Thank You for loving me anyway and for always giving me another chance. I’m trusting You with everything ahead, one day at a time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear God, thank You for being with me through every moment. I’ve hard some hard days, but I’ve also had good days. I’ve felt the weight of stress and worry, but You’ve never left my side. You’ve been steady when I’ve felt broken, and I’m so grateful. Your word in Philippians 4:6 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” So here I am, giving it all to You. I surrender the things I’ve been stressing over, the fears I’ve been holding onto. The way You take care of me… I don’t even know why I worry. You’ve never failed me, and I know You won’t start now. You’re bigger than every challenge I face, and I trust You to work it out. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
