A Word From Bishop H Parker
Sit not at all with another man's wife, nor sit down with her in thine arms, and spend not thy money with her at the wine; lest thine heart incline unto her, and so through thy desire thou fall into destruction.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and awe for Your incredible love for me. Thank You for loving me unconditionally and for always being present in my life. Your love is a constant source of strength, comfort, and hope, and I am so grateful for it.

Thank You for demonstrating Your love through the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is through Him that I experience grace, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life. Your love is a profound reminder that I am valued and cherished, no matter my circumstances or shortcomings.

Lord, I thank You for the little and big ways You show Your love every dayโ€”through the beauty of creation, the kindness of others, and the peace that fills my heart. Help me to recognize and appreciate Your love in every moment.

As I reflect on Your love, I ask that You help me to share that same love with those around me. May my words and actions reflect Your grace and compassion, bringing light to those who are hurting and lost.

Thank You for being faithful and for never leaving my side. Even in times of trouble, Your love remains a steadfast anchor for my soul. I am grateful for the assurance that nothing can separate me from Your love.

I praise You for who You areโ€”loving, merciful, and just. May my life be a testament to Your love, shining brightly in a world that desperately needs it.

In Jesusโ€™ name, I pray, Amen...

Praise God sometimes out of nowhere people dislike you because of either jealousy or maybe you weren't able to help them during a crisis in their life but We should always remember that God knows our hearts and we should always ask God this;

Psalms 139:23-24
[23]Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
[24]And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

And then you can kick the dust off your feet and keep it moving...

TO ALL PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS.

THE DO'S AND DONT'S IN THE GODLY PULPITS OF JESUS CHRIST.....

โ€œโ€ฆso that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living Godโ€ฆ.โ€
(I Timothy 3:15).

You canโ€™t chew gum in the pulpit, smoke a cigarette, or bring your coffee in with you. You canโ€™t preach in your pajamas or lead a worship service in your swimsuit.

But you knew that.

However, some pastors do things every bit as silly as this, and as counter-productive, we must say.

Now, in one sense, a pastor can do anything from the pulpit. Once.

But weโ€™re talking about things no right-thinking godly pastor should attempt to do from the Lordโ€™s sacred place of leadership in His church.

1. He or she cannot recommend a book which has questionable material in it nor condemn a book he or she has not read.

Okay. They can, but they shouldnโ€™t.

2. A movie. Some movies have much to be commended, but by their horrible language and their using Christโ€™s name blasphemously destroy all the good. The pastor will not want to endorse such a movie even though it has some positive aspects.

3. He cannot bring someone into the pulpit, even for an interview, whose life is a contradiction to the way of Jesus Christ.

There may be a forum for the church to host the mayor (Candidate) who has atheistic beliefs or a prominent author of a questionable piece which would not give the impression of endorsing the personโ€™s lifestyle, if that is thought necessary. But a worship service is not the place.

We remember how Paul and Silas did not appreciate the recommendation of the demon-possessed girl of Acts 16. โ€œThese men are servants of the Most High God,โ€ she called out to everyone. The problem was, people saw her as crazy. She was the last person who should be testifying about the Lord. So, Paul cast the demon from her. Suddenly, she was free, was normal, and was quiet.

4. He or She cannot preach that he or she disbelieves certain scriptures

If the preacher disbelieves the Bible, let him or her resign and find an honest way to make a living.

5. He or she cannot share doubts.

Imagine a pastor telling the congregation the struggles he or she has with the deity of the Lord, or doctrines such as salvation, the Incarnation, , the Virgin Birth, and the Atonement.

If he or she has such issues, let him or her read Psalm 73 a dozen times and take its message to heart, then work out his or her doubts in private.

6. He or She cannot tell the congregation that he or she struggles with p**n or lust.

Some things are better dealt with privatelyโ€“or at least between himself or herself, his or her spouse, and a faithful counselorโ€“but never in public.

The pastor who tells his or her people that he or she has a lust problem is creating more problems for himself or herself than he or she can imagine. Every woman in the church will think heโ€™s un******ng her and the vice-versa with a woman pastor when he or she shakes their hand. When that happens, his or her ministry has come to an abrupt halt.

7. A minister cannot rebuke anyone publicly from the pulpit.

He or She cannot call names and slander someone, no matter how strongly he or she feels.

Again, he or she may do it, but not and retain the respect of Christians who know the word and reverence God's name. (Mean-spirited preachers) will always have their defenders, but this does not make it wise or right.

Let the preacher never forget that he or she has not been called to โ€œshare his or her heartโ€ with his or her people but to โ€œpreach the Wordโ€ (II Timothy 4:2).

Let the preacher not fall prey to the temptation to be transparent to the point that he or she lays stumblingblocks in the paths of his or her people. Let the preacher say to himself or herself a hundred times a day, โ€œThis is not about me; This is about Jesus Christโ€ (see 2 Corinthians 4:5).

Let the preacher with overwhelming doubts have enough integrity to a) get help, b) stay on his or her knees, c) not preach his or her doubts, and d) get out of the ministry if the doubts and questions remain unresolved.

We will all stand before the Lord and give account.

Let none of us have to account for having caused Godโ€™s people to stumble.

A) NO MAN SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED IN THE PULPIT WITH A HAT ON. ANY PASTOR WHO PERMITS THIS IS NOT A GOD FEARING PASTOR AND SHOWS NO RESPECT FOR THE SACREDNESS OF THE PULPIT.

B) DURING FUNERALS AND SPECIAL EVENTS THERE SHOULD BE A MICROPHONE AND PODIUM FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE REMARKS OR SING A SOLO.

LET ALL PASTORS AND MINISTERS CORRECT WHAT GOES ON IN THE PULPITS OF JESUS CHRIST...

AFTER YOU READ THIS POST THERE WILL BE NO EXCUSES FOR DISRESPECTING THE PULPITS OF JESUS CHRIST.....

THE PULPITS OF JESUS CHRIST

KEEPING THE PULPITS HOLY....

Whenever a human being, Bible in hand, stands up before a group of other human beings, invites the gathered assembly into a particular text of the Bible and as faithful as possible tries to say again what the living God is saying in the text, something always happens.[1]What happens is the mysterious move of the Spirit opening hearts to the living Christ, the Beloved One of the Father, through the inspired text of Scripture. Once again, though, the sacredness of the pulpit has become profane. So letโ€™s consider a few elements that make the pulpit sacred.

The Reality of the Preaching Event

The second sacred element of the pulpit deals with the sacred reality of preaching. When we preach the Word we are doing more than telling good stories or offering practical insights.

Preaching is that timeless link between Godโ€™s redemptive act and manโ€™s apprehension of it.โ€[4] He goes on to say that the proclamation of the cross is itself the extension in tie of that very redemptive act.[5] This means we are not called to simply preaching about the cross. Rather we are preaching the cross and in that moment the redemptive act of the past becomes a present reality. This reality is earthโ€“shaking.

Therefore to preach is not merely standing in a pulpit to speak. Preaching becomes a part of the dynamic event where the living God reproduces his redemptive act to men and women.[6] But in the sermon, the real Preacher speaking is not the man behind the pulpit. It is the One enthroned in Heaven, the Living Christ is speaking through weak men.

We preach because God has spoken words to His people, it is written in Scripture, and we are exhorted to preach its content. The Bible unveils the reality of God to His people. To say it this way: the Bible is redemptive revelation.

Since this is the case, the role of the sermon is to re-present this redemptive revelation. It is in the sermon that we restate the textโ€™s meaning since the text bears witness to the redeeming Christ. A true text-driven sermon is a sermon that reveals Christ in all of Scripture.

Lastly, the sacredness of the pulpit only makes sense within the larger assembly of Godโ€™s people. Going to church is more than just giving handshakes and hugs. It is the corporate encounter with the living God. Think for example of the language used in Hebrews 12:18โ€“24. We have not come to what could be touch. Rather we have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, to myriads of angels, a festive gathering, to the assembly of the firstborn and to Jesus (v. 22โ€“24). In a very real but spiritual sense as we gather together, we are ushered into the Holy of Holies and join in the angelic worship of the Lamb. As heralds, we proclaim the sermonic Word to the heavenly assembly and in that moment revelation becomes a redemptive event. This is why the pulpit is sacred. Redemption draweth nigh! It is in the pulpit that the Crucified and Risen Christ speaks to His people through the inspired Word. For a brief few momentsโ€™ heaven touches earth in a sacred way unlike other times during the week.

Refuse to listen to the lying voices, which insinuate that this is an unpropitious hour for the proclamation of the faith. You are to be the heraldsโ€ฆGo forth, then, in the heartening assurance that this present cataclysmic hour is alive with spiritual potentialities.

A THOUGHT TO THINK ABOUT....

James 2:1-10 (MSG) My dear friends, don't let public opinion influence how you live out our glorious, Christ-originated faith.
If a man enters your church wearing an expensive suit, and a street person wearing rags comes in right after him,
and you say to the man in the suit, "Sit here, sir; this is the best seat in the house!" and either ignore the street person or say, "Better sit here in the back row,"
haven't you segregated God's children and proved that you are judges who can't be trusted?
Listen, dear friends. Isn't it clear by now that God operates quite differently? He chose the world's down-and-out as the kingdom's first citizens, with full rights and privileges. This kingdom is promised to anyone who loves God.
And here you are abusing these same citizens! Isn't it the high and mighty who exploit you, who use the courts to rob you blind?
Aren't they the ones who scorn the new nameโ€”"Christian"โ€”used in your baptisms?
You do well when you complete the Royal Rule of the Scriptures: "Love others as you love yourself."
But if you play up to these so-called important people, you go against the Rule and stand convicted by it.
You can't pick and choose in these things, specializing in keeping one or two things in God's law and ignoring others.

Being an Example of His Message

Preach the word! โ€”
2 Timothy 4:2

We are not saved only to be instruments for God, but to be His sons and daughters. He does not turn us into spiritual agents but into spiritual messengers, and the message must be a part of us. The Son of God was His own messageโ€” โ€œThe words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are lifeโ€ (John 6:63). As His disciples, our lives must be a holy example of the reality of our message. Even the natural heart of the unsaved will serve if called upon to do so, but it takes a heart broken by conviction of sin, baptized by the Holy Spirit, and crushed into submission to Godโ€™s purpose to make a personโ€™s life a holy example of Godโ€™s message.

There is a difference between giving a testimony and preaching. A preacher is someone who has received the call of God and is determined to use all his energy to proclaim Godโ€™s truth. God takes us beyond our own aspirations and ideas for our lives, and molds and shapes us for His purpose, just as He worked in the disciplesโ€™ lives after Pentecost. The purpose of Pentecost was not to teach the disciples something, but to make them the incarnation of what they preached so that they would literally become Godโ€™s message in the flesh. โ€œโ€ฆyou shall be witnesses to Meโ€ฆโ€ (Acts 1:8).

Allow God to have complete liberty in your life when you speak. Before Godโ€™s message can liberate other people, His liberation must first be real in you. Gather your material carefully, and then allow God to โ€œset your words on fireโ€ for His glory.

BIBLE STUDY TIME:

HAVE YOU RETURNED BACK TO GOD?

Hosea 6:1
[1]Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Hosea agrees with Isaiah: God's wrath against the sin of His people is only for a moment; it is His mercy that is for eternity.

The Bible is overflowing with different statements that all make this same point: that God is exceedingly merciful; that He forgives gladly; that He forgives numerous sins. Consider what happened to the prodigal son. He had sinned, and sinned badly; yet his father forgave him. Zacchaeus was a small, mean little man; yet He was forgiven. The thief on the cross, by his own admission, deserved to die; yet, He too, was forgiven.

This brings us to the third step that Ephraim and Judah take in their spiritual journey. They say, "Come, let us return to the LORD ... that we may live in his presence."

The desire to live in God's presence is what distinguishes genuine faith from fake faith and the true Christian from the false Christian. The false Christian, you see, may want to come to the Lord but he or she never wants to stay with the Lord. That's too much bother, you know. That requires too big a sacrifice. That means I need to take up my cross and follow Him.
