A tender new chapter for children from Kitui Baby Home🥰.
These little ones are beginning the transition from Kitui Baby Home to Mulango Children’s Home, and these photos capture one beautiful part of that journey: starting school in their new community.
Transitions like this are meaningful and emotional. For the children, it means new classrooms, new routines, new friendships, and a new home environment. For the caregivers who have loved them through their earliest years, it is both heartwarming and tender to watch them take this next step.

At Chariots for Hope, every transition is approached with care, prayer, preparation, and deep commitment to each child’s well-being.

The people who care for children need care, too.

Our Mulango staff pour themselves out each day caring for children with love, patience, and faithfulness.

Their recent retreat was a time to care for the caregivers, to rest, reconnect, and be strengthened as a team.

We are deeply grateful for their service and the burden they carry together. Their work reminds us that hope is not carried by one person alone. It is carried together.

At Chariots for Hope, we see God at work in the everyday.
In the steady care of a caregiver, in a child’s laughter, in a prayer whispered before a meal, in the classroom, on the playground, during worship, and in the quiet moments where a child feels safe, known, and loved.
This is the heart of Chariots for Hope: walking alongside orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya with Christ-centered, holistic care so they can grow in faith, hope, and purpose. We are grateful for every partner, sponsor, church, and friend who helps make this daily ministry possible.

For 50 years, the Mukaa community has been a place where children have been nurtured, educated, and prepared for their futures.

Generations of caregivers, teachers, and community members have faithfully invested in the lives of vulnerable children, helping them grow into leaders, parents, professionals, and mentors.

This month, we celebrate not just an anniversary, but a legacy.

A legacy of faith.
A legacy of education.
A legacy of community care.

And most importantly, a legacy of lives transformed.

The story of Mukaa continues today through the children growing up in the homes and the people who faithfully support them.

After years without reliable transportation, Mahiga Children’s Home now has a dependable vehicle of their own. 🚐

Because of your generosity, 73 children can travel safely and consistently to hospital appointments, school visits, and wherever care is needed most.
