El Cuerpo de Cristo no conoce fronteras. Mientras nuestros hermanos y hermanas inmigrantes enfrentan el miedo y la separación, caminamos juntos para proclamar que toda persona lleva la dignidad de Dios.

We invite you to join for our Faithful Philadelphia Community call on April 19th from 7-8:30pm. Anyone connected to or interested in Faithful Philadelphia are welcome to attend! Please register using the link in our bio. During the call, we will reflect on past witnesses and discern our Corpus Christi Witness and next movements. We need you to join us in this movement and to keep the momentum going! We are in a special need of leaders for the Corpus Christi procession.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Good Friday Stations of the Cross, as we walked from the ICE detention center to the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. As we gathered together as children of God, we did not just recall Jesus’s suffering but also the suffering of migrants, as well as the 47 human beings who have died at the hands of ICE and DHS in the past 15 months.

May this Easter season bring with it hope and peace.

“God of love and compassion, may we always recognize your spirit:
in the refugee family, seeking safety from violence;
in the migrant worker, bringing food to our tables;
in the asylum-seekers, seeking justice for their families;
in the unaccompanied child, traveling in a dangerous world.
Give us hearts that break open whenever our brothers and sisters turn to us.
Give us hearts that no longer turn deaf to their voices in times of need.
Give us eyes to recognize a moment for grace instead of a threat.
Give us voices that fail to remain silent but which decide instead to advocate prophetically.
Give us hands that reach out in welcome, but also in work, for a world of justice until all homelands are safe and secure.
Bless us, O Lord.”
