This Sunday is gonna be an amazing encounter!

As the Lord has laid it upon the heart of our Pastor to honor a man who has stood faithfully through the many transitions of Friendship Congregation, we pause to celebrate Elder Robert Lewis.

He is a pillar of the foundation one who remained steadfast when seasons changed, leadership shifted, and God began revealing what was next. During the transition, he trusted God, embraced the vision, and made room for the future generation to lead Friendship into its next chapter.

His presence reminds us that while methods may change and generations may shift, there is still tremendous value in those who helped lay the foundation upon which we now stand.

This Sunday, we give honor where honor is due. Elder Lewis, thank you for standing, serving, trusting, and believing in what God was and still is doing at Friendship.

As our Senior Pastor, is away on a Kingdom assignment, we have intentionally set aside this time for the entire ministry to rest, reflect, and be renewed. During this sabbatical, there will be no in-person worship services, meetings, or ministry activities through August 8, 2026.

We encourage every member to spend this time enjoying your family, seeking God in personal devotion, relaxing, and allowing Him to refresh your spirit. Seasons of rest are just as important as seasons of labor, and we believe God is preparing us for what lies ahead.

We look forward to gathering together again for in-person worship on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM, ready to worship with renewed strength and expectancy.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Pastor Hill as he faithfully serves on assignment. We ask that you keep him covered in prayer for safe travels, divine strength, and a fruitful ministry.

🎉 WACKY-TACKY YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT SUNDAY! 🎉

This Sunday, we’re going to have a little fun, share a few laughs, and most importantly, experience the presence of God together! Join us for our Youth & Young Adult Sunday, where our youth and young adults will be leading the service from beginning to end.

We are excited to invite you, your family, and your friends to be a part of this glory encounter.

The Word of God will be ministered by our very own Minister Amari Foster, a growing voice within our ministry who has a genuine heart for reaching youth and young adults. We are excited to hear what God has placed in her spirit.
