Due to the hurricane approaching the Gulf, we’re making a change to our retreat location! We’ll now be heading to Epworth By The Sea on St. Simons Island, GA! We have a new plan, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!

A few important reminders:

-Our packing list stays the same! We’ll still have plenty of beach time, so pack accordingly!

-New departure time: Meet in the youth center at NOON TOMORROW!

-Make sure you eat lunch before we leave!

We’re looking forward to an amazing weekend together filled with fun, fellowship, and FULLNESS OF JOY!

Another week of WWJD!!

This week, we looked at the woman at the well and three truths:

1. Jesus wants to meet you in your mess.
2. Your mess can become part of your message.
3. Jesus doesn’t just meet you in your mess, He leads you to something better.

Your past doesn’t disqualify you. Jesus can meet you right where you are and use your story for His glory!

Happy Thursday!! 😁

Yesterday morning at Prayer Breakfast, we dug into James 1:2-3 and were reminded that even in trials, God is doing something in us, and there is joy to be found in Him!

A little sneak peek into our Fall Retreat theme: Fullness of Joy!

Thank you Preslie & Kennedy for sharing your words with us this morning and reminding us where we find our JOY no matter our circumstances!

Week 2 of WWJD: What Would Jesus Do?

Wednesday night, we spent most of our time in Matthew 6:9–13 looking at the Lord’s Prayer and asking a simple question: What would Jesus do? He would seek God first.

Jesus teaches us to make God our first priority: to let God define you, to pray as a kingdom worker, to seek His will, to depend on Him as our daily bread, to make forgiveness our first response, and to live a life that resists the enemy.

It all starts with putting God first.

This week’s challenge: Before you check your phone, watch tv, etc., pause and pray: “Father, Your kingdom come. Your will be done in my life today.”

Then spend a few minutes in Scripture and ask, “God, what do You want to do in me and through me today?”

A little reminder from Wednesday as we head into the weekend: Let’s make God our first priority not just in our prayers, but in our everyday lives and decisions.

Happy Friday! Just a reminder from Holland’s devo at Prayer Breakfast this Wednesday!

She talked about the Breastplate of Righteousness and what it means to guard our hearts. The enemy will try to fill our hearts with worry, comparison, and self-righteousness, but we can choose to stand firm in the righteousness we have through Christ.

Let’s remember this weekend to guard our hearts, stay grounded in God’s Word, and trust Him with whatever comes our way.

Have a great day!!

High School Girls Night!! 🍁🌅💕

Got to do this last month with our high school guys, so naturally it was time for the girls to have their own night too! We spent the afternoon painting pumpkins, taking sunset pictures, hanging out, and maybe some impromptu karaoke too!

So thankful for this group of girls and nights like this to just laugh, hang out, slow down, and enjoy being together! 🧡
