We are so thankful for all the blessings God has given our little Church!

HOME MISSIONS UPDATE | Radiant OPC in Peoria, IL

Church planter Kevin Godsey writes: "Radiant OPC is not all that unique in its mission and vision. We desire to faithfully preach the gospel to those who will listen and welcome those who will come. It could be said that our uniqueness stops at the Westminster Standards—that is to say, we are not a “homeschooling church” or a “big family church” or some other fill-in the-blank church. To be sure, many within our church love homeschooling and have big families.

My point is simply to say that our identity as a church is truly confessional.We are not interested in identifying ourselves as a church with anything beyond the Bible and the summary of its system of doctrine in the Westminster Standards. Of course, this is the heartbeat of the OPC. As a mission work, we desire to evangelize the city and to welcome new converts to the body of Christ."

Radiant OPC requests prayer that the Lord would raise up elders and deacons, and that they would have opportunities to evangelize and spread the Gospel.

Radiant is cancelling our morning class time tomorrow in light of the weather. We will still be having our normal morning worship service at 11:15!

Be safe driving!!

Because of the extreme cold and snow accumulation, we will be cancelling Sunday School. There will still be Worship at 11:15am. Please take it carefully on your way to church.

Dear Church family,
we are pleased to invite you to join us for a combined Good Friday service at 7:00 p.m. this Friday 4/18/25 with the Peoria Chinese Christan Church.

We join with Peoria Chinese Christian Church for a joint Good Friday service. The service with be in both English and Mandarin.

We are so excited to say that we have called Kevin Godsey to be our church planting pastor! We will be having an installation service May 30th with more details to come. We are so blessed that God has provided for our church and has answered our prayers!!! Thank you to all of our brothers and sisters in Christ who have been praying for us in this time of searching!

We are praying for the future and are very excited to see how the Lord uses us in these next coming years. Please keep the Godsey family in your prayers as they transition to Peoria and pray for Kevin as he leads us into the next step of our church journey.
